Jul 2013 – Present: Maintenance Control Officer, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA
• Senior Enlisted Advisor (Office Manager) to the Commanding Officer (CEO) for the Organization of 164 Employees.
• Directly Managed and Supervised (HR Generalist Duties) the Headquarters Section of 14 Employees, while mentoring
and supervising over 30 Mid-Level Managers to include counseling and motivating them handling Onboarding
Programs.
• Assisted the organization to achieve a mission capable readiness rating of 96 percent during the recent Field and Supply
Maintenance Office inspection mandated by Headquarters Marine Corps, its most significant inspection conducted.
• Handle on a day-to-day basis Manpower reporting (HRIS System parallel) utilizing the Defense Readiness Reporting
System (DRRS), which is a personnel, productivity, equipment shortages, and combat readiness report submitted to
Headquarters Marine Corps, equivalent to the civilian ADP Program.
• Assisted the Senior Leadership with pay, budget, wellness, training and discipline issues within the organization and made
recommendations to commander with courses of actions for individuals for all matter of Employee Relations.
• As a Leader remains calm and professional when faced with tight deadlines and is extremely innovative under adverse
conditions. Personally selected as the Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Alpha, Senior Ordnance Management Advisor to
Afghanistan for the General’s Staff to close the American Facility after a decade of support and sustainment.

• Performed as the Senior Enlisted Ordnance Maintenance Advisor (Executive Level) for both I and III Marine
Expeditionary Forces ensuring Senior Enlisted Service members were attending middle management advance courses and
receiving quality executive training, a population spread from Korea to California!
• Assisted the Monitor (Human Resource Division, Headquarter Marine Corps) properly placed entry-level service
members within our area of responsibility, creating a proficient, efficient, and effective enterprise.
• Researched, constructed and presented the Program Objective Memorandum budget plans for fiscal years 2011 to 2013 to
the Commanding General. Program Management of weapons programs and large component parts (i.e. engines for
vehicles), was in my job description.
• Assisted in the formulation of the first annual Ground Ordnance Maintenance Award to recognize outstanding Marines
service-wide and served on the Awards and selection board (panel) frequently as a voting member.
• Assisted in the development and revision of the mission essential task list, (new Policy) required by Headquarters Marine
Corps, to train and staff personnel to accomplish the goals and mission of the organization.
• Successfully conduced Joint Operations in South Korea with the Army, Air Force, and Navy as the Senior Enlisted
Advisor for all the branches of service within the Joint Tactical Logistics Operations Center.

2. • Hired and processed over 1,400 service members (employees) during day-to-day operations. To include supporting task
organized divisions of personnel supporting combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Humanitarian Operations in
Haiti. Synchronized with the personnel department ensuring the proper placement of all newly joined service members to
optimize organizational success.
• Served as the Approving Officer for a $30K non-government purchase program in financial management and received
"noteworthy" reviews on two annual fiscal audits. In addition, was responsible for cardholders from six different
departments and supervised their purchases, audits, refunds, justifications, and Executive Level yearly audits.
• Managed / Supervised and Operated an Office of 15 Staff Members at the Executive Level with all day-to-day
operations regarding organizational level development of policy, procedure, training and operations, to include
recruitment of commodity managers to function as Company Representatives.
Jun 2005 – Jul 2008: Platoon Commander, Okinawa, Japan
• As a Platoon Command (Senior Manager) was responsible for over 60 American service members and 6 foreign national
civilian employee’s training, health and advancement during this period. Was responsible for Personnel Management and
understanding host nation employment laws and EEO foreign regulations.
• Supervised and Managed an account of 3,247 critical assets worth over 11.5M dollars.
• Facilitated the completion and installation of new information technology and physical security systems in a facility,
which support the entire 3rd
Marine Expeditionary Force.
• Supervised and managed the daily operations within the Fire Control (59 employees) and Infantry Repair Platoons (65
employees) as the Platoon Commander due to extreme shortages of Restricted and un-restricted Officers.
Apr 1999 – May 2005: Ordnance Chief, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA
• Revolutionized an inefficient weapons department to an effective and productive section. Enabling the department to
receive praise from the Higher Command Logistic Readiness Evaluation Team within a few months of assuming
responsibility for the section.
• Implemented a new vigorous training program elevating the knowledge and skills of over 46 service members.
• Develop an innovated comprehensive maintenance report that captured all cost and maintenance related to the
organization, which stream lined processes and improved productivity.
• Coordinated with joint service overseas to conduct maintenance operations for over 300 service members, and procuring
over 7K worth of necessary items, critical to the mission, at no cost to the organization.
• Maintained a maintenance management production rate of 96 percent for 3,000 weapons and components during this
period. During three combat tours maintained a 100 percent efficiency and effectiveness rate while using limited Supply
Chain Resources.
