The project scope consists of refurbishing an existing Floating Production Vessel to suit the production
profiles of Stella, Harrier and Hurricane fields located in North Sea within UK block. The Floating Production
Facility [FPF1] Topsides includes Separation system, Compression System, Gas dehydration & Glycol
regeneration, Produced water treatment, Chemical Injection, IA & N2 package, Helideck, other utilities etc.
The hull portion includes Sea Water and Fire water facilities. Hull weight ~ 18000 MT, Topsides weight ~
6000 MT. Cost of project ~ 500M US$; Engineering man-hours 400,000
Engineering scope @ Chennai office includes all design and engineering activities related to Process, HSE,

major aspect of this project is most of the processing facilities are modularized. The project has a total of
146 modules with weights ranging from 70 MT to 4000 MT. The total tonnage ~ 85,000 MT for the project.
Offshore engineering background is added advantage for modularisation. JV with DSME. The lump sum price
~ 4b US$. Engineering Man-hours 1.5M

Project : ADMA OPCO Zakum Water Injection Upgrade Project Bid Engineering

The project consists of New Water Injection facility called Capacity Upgrade and modification of
existing water injection facility called Pressure Upgrade. Technip has done the Front End
Engineering design [FEED]. The new platform has to be installed by Float-over method. The bid
engineering includes Design Verification / FEED endorsement [McDermott won this project]
Project : Arabiyah Hasbah Field Development Project Bid Engineering
Client : Saudi ARAMCO
The Saudi ARAMCO project, Arabiyah field consists of 6 Well Head Platforms, 1 Tie-in platform, 1
Intermediate injection platform and onshore terminal; Hasbah field consists of 7 Wehh Head
platforms and 1 Tie-in platform; 700 Kms of piping of which 50 Kms clad with Inconel 625. The
design pressure is 8800 psig.

number of equipment is more than 100. NACE requirements are applicable due to sour
service criteria.
In this project, took over as Project engineering coordinator half way through engineering
Execution. Internal coordination and dealing with EIL & Punj Lloyd [Petrofac’s sub-contractor]
were the main responsibilities.

Petrofac Engineering services India Private limited, Chennai Project Engineering Manager [Sept 2011 – Jan 2016] Responsible for Project Engineering activities related to Detail Engineering of EPC projects and Proposals for Offshore Oil & Gas projects. Project: Greater Stella Development Project, North Sea. Client : ITHACA Energy The project scope consists of refurbishing an existing Floating Production Vessel to suit the production profiles of Stella, Harrier and Hurricane fields located in North Sea within UK block. The Floating Production Facility [FPF1] Topsides includes Separation system, Compression System, Gas dehydration & Glycol regeneration, Produced water treatment, Chemical Injection, IA & N2 package, Helideck, other utilities etc. The hull portion includes Sea Water and Fire water facilities. Hull weight ~ 18000 MT, Topsides weight ~ 6000 MT. Cost of project ~ 500M US$; Engineering man-hours 400,000 Engineering scope @ Chennai office includes all design and engineering activities related to Process, HSE, Piping, Structural, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom In the Position of Project Engineering Manager @ Chennai  Coordinating with all Engineering disciplines at Chennai to drive and meet the project requirements, assisted by Project Control and Document control  Coordinating with other Petrofac offices -Woking office for engineering, Sharjah for Procurement / vendor delivery management. The major aspect of this project is most of the processing facilities are modularized. The project has a total of 146 modules with weights ranging from 70 MT to 4000 MT. The total tonnage ~ 85,000 MT for the project. Offshore engineering background is added advantage for modularisation. JV with DSME. The lump sum price ~ 4b US$.
