2. ADDING RECORDING AND
PUTTING AN EFFECT OF VOICE
In this presentation I am going to be creating a visual demonstration how to
preform advance skills in Garage Band. The skill I am going to demonstrate is
how to record a voice and add an effect to it to make it sound futuristic to suit
radio stations do today. There are a few steps to take when doing this effect
which I will be showing you in this presentation.
3. STEP 1
The first step you have to take is record
your voice. To do this you need to press
the red record button (where the arrow
is pointed) This button allows you to
record sounds. After recording you voice
you can then go to step 2.
Once recording your voice it will look
like this. The purple rectangle indicates
how long you have recorded your voice.
4. STEP 2
Once you have clicked on the purple rectangle female
voice section shown in the last slide. You then need to
click the eye which brings up all the effects you can put
on this voice to make the voice sounds
different, effective for your radio spot.
5. STEP 3
Once you have chosen your effect, in this case
gospel choir the once purple rectangle female voice
changes to a now red rectangle gospel choir
rectangle. Now if you press the play button the
effect will be on your voice making it effective for
you radio spot.
