2. Process
• So on the PowerPoint for pre production, I sent
a link of all the audios I'm using so you wont see
them here.
3. All my work
• So because this is an audio project, its kind of hard to just show parts of an audio project, so instead ill show
you the parts where I learnt something new while doing this project
• Not able to send the video
here because then I cant
send this to class notebook
if I send the audio project
in this PowerPoint, so you
will see it in my blogger or
classnote book or both.
4. Special effects for Voices
• So, if you listen to my project, you may have noticed that both A. the voice
acting kind of sucks (which don’t really care that much because the point
was to prove that I can use Premier Pro and make something out of it) and B.
There was very unique sounds coming from some of the characters and
that’s because I discovered the Audio Track Mixer which, allows me to edit
and change the audio from certain tracks to either make them sound lower
pitched, give them an echo and much more. All I did was muck around and
test certain voices.
• Here are two clips, one non edited and
one edited.
Left is non edited, and right is edited
5. Fading in and out sounds
• You also may have noticed that some of my audio clips fade in and out to
give either change of character or change of scene. And I learnt two ways
to do this.
The first way I found out
how to fade in and out
sounds was by dragging an
Effect from the effects
option when you click the
Editing button, then you
simply just drag the audio
and your done, you able to
also change how long the
effect last for as well.
an example on what I mean (it's
also fades out quite quick because
I didn’t change how long it fades
out, so this is the default speed for
fading out
6. Fading in and out sounds
• And the second way I did it was clicking this
circle button on a certain point on a track and
then putting another circle icon on another
part of the track, then all I do is move one of
the circles down to then turn the audio to
either fade in or out
This audio fades out
This audio fades in and gives this sound of coming closer (and
also the sound is something called an Aura, which its this
glowing aura that comes off from dragon ball z characters to
show how crazy strong they are
7. Shortening audio and slowing down
audio
• And not only have I shortened certain clips; I've also Literally slowed down
some audio as well.
For slowing down the audio, I right click
my audio and click Speed/Duration, I
then type in how much slower or faster I
want it to go and then it either extends
the audio clip if I want it to go slower or
it shortens to go faster
Also, the part where everything
slows down, the main villain is that
fast, his prospective is that
everything is slowed down but for
my prospective its super quick
and for this one I simply just
shorten the audio clip by
double clicking the audio and
dragging the { } closer to
where it cuts off (for this case I
shorten it in half)
8. The problems I had
The only problem I ran into was making everything either too loud or too quite
and its actually really annoying to balance it because Premier Pro was saying that
my audio was too loud, which I thought “Alright, I guess I should try to keep that
levelled a bit but the second I did that, everything then became really quiet and
then had to balance everything yet again. And the only reasons to why it was loud
was because the sound effects I was using were hitting its peak with the sounds
So when you see this in your audio, that means its going to be very loud.
But I think I just had my computer use the wrong master volume because every
time I played these sound effects they would tend to be a bit too loud for me so I
think its more my fault for making my volume go so low. And that’s really it for the
type of problems I had. They were more problems with the sound rather than the
audio I used
