The activity program was established by the host school in Turkey in collaboration with partner schools
in the project.
On arrival in Pazar, the host school welcomed the delegations and offered a session of information on
the region, the cultural, geographic and economic context of the city.
On the first day, each school, through the project coordinator, made a presentation of the local and school
community, the main activities and projects of the schools they came from. The program continued with a
school tour to learn about the environment and the organization of the school, followed by a welcome meeting
with the team of directors and the Turkish project team. Delegations had the opportunity to learn about
pedagogical methodologies, lesson activities, school curriculum options, evaluation procedures, and school
timetable. Lithuania's team couldn’t participate because of funding problems. Presentations of this school will
take place in the next mobility, in Portugal.
A meeting of the project also took place in the afternoon to analyze the planning of activities for two years and
to discuss the steps of the project: management documents, selection criteria for pupils, organization of LTTA,
tangible products to be made, dissemination plan and timetable mobility. The Lithuanian team participated in
this meeting through the skype connection.
In the evening, a meeting of delegations was welcomed by about 60 members of the local community:
teachers, parents, local authorities (prefect, mayor, school inspectors).
On Wednesday, November 7th, the program included a documentary visit to the cultural and historical
places of interest for the project such as: St. Barbara Monastery, Aya Sophia Museum, Santa Maria Church and
Atatürk House.
On the 8th of November, the day began with a meeting with the district governor and the mayor, as an
opportunity to establish an intercultural dialogue on the project and the administrative organization of the
region. In the afternoon, there was a documentary visit to the castles of Ayder and Zilkale.
