The purpose of the project :
To establish a strategic partnership with schools from
Lithuania, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria for the training of
students' sustainable development skills, facilitating the social
inclusion of students, especially students from disadvantaged
backgrounds.
Students need to be aware of the negative impact of
industrialization on the environment and become future
responsible citizens who use natural resources prudently and
responsibly, as their future managers and consumers.
The needs identified at the level of partner organizations were
established by applying the following investigation tools: SWOT
analysis and application of questionnaires to students

The project is funded by EU funds
To increase the access of students from vulnerable groups to an inclusive
education, acquiring key and digital skills, training them as future responsible
and civic engaged citizens, ready to respond to climate challenges and to
improve the organization's social and environmental responsibility.
Specific objectives for each partner country:
O1 Training of sustainable development skills and responsible citizenship for
20 students from vulnerable groups, until 30.10.2022
O2 Development of the competencies of 6 teachers by participating in the
exchange of experience and good practices at European level, for the
formation until 30.10.2022 of the social and environmental responsibility of the
organization.
O3 Elaboration until 30.10.2022 of at least 10 transnational educational
products, in order to train the digital, social and civic competences of 20
students.

Intangible results:
• social responsibility for the ecological exploitation of the environment and
resources;
• ability to work in a team;
• developing responsibility and civic spirit;
• forming the attitude of positive exploration of the environment;
• cognitive and emotional development;
• formation / modeling of the aesthetic sense;
• social involvement;
• developing practical, social, volunteering and communication skills, digital skills;
• improving methods and tools for training sustainable development skills among
students;
• facilitating access to non-formal learning in a European context;
• training skills in critical information analysis, autonomy in thinking,
communication, sustainable development skills;
• increasing the institutional capacity to promote social and environmental
responsibility in all partner high schools;
• the acquisition by students of IT, linguistic, communication, civic responsibility,
teamwork skills;
• internationalization of the organization.

The local activities in each partner country will be:
• Arranging an Eco-Friendly space
• Establishment of a mini-center for selective waste collection
• Arranging a sustainable and biodiverse green space of the school
• Semester completion of an activity diary
• Organizing an international photography contest "Nature inspires us"
• Making a photo panel "So yes! So no!"
• Organizing a workshop for students on "Consumer rights and obligations in the
context of sustainable development"
• Revision of a Curriculum in Local Development for the 11th grade of high school/by
adding a chapter on environmental protection, respectively an optional subject for
partners
• Organizing campaigns by creating spots with national and international message, a
conference to which NGOs, teachers from other high schools, university professors,
representatives of the local community will be invited
• Teachers' participation in the exchange of good practices on the theme of social
and environmental responsibility of schools in the European context
• Writing a Smart Book

Target group:
20 students from vulnerable groups who will develop their key
competencies and skills as responsible and socially active European citizens.
30 students from each partner country are selected, of which 6 are reserve
students.
6 teachers selected from each partner country who will improve their
educational strategies in order to develop social and civic competencies
among students and organizations.
Indirect beneficiaries: teachers from the school, parents, the local, regional
and international community through the activities of multiplying the results.

There will be 5 experience exchange with students- Learning
Teaching Training Activities - in: Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria
and Romania
Within the 5 short-term exchange activities of the groups of students
(LTT), organized by each high school within the strategic partnership,
4 students from each partner country will participate, aged between 14
and 19 years old, students who are part of the target group of the
project, including the ones with reduced opportunities, from vulnerable
backgrounds.
The sixth mobility in Portugal is a Short-term joint staff training
event in which 6 teachers from each partner school will
participate

Topics of experience exchanges:
C1. Factors influencing climate change -
Lithuania
Lithuania's LTT work will help to deepen knowledge about climate
change and how human activity influences climate change.
There will be conferences and workshops for students on the factors
influencing climate change:
- Astronomical factors, geological and biological processes on Earth and
its influence on climate change.
- Human activities in agriculture and animal husbandry and its effect on
climate change.
- Industrial pollution and the influence of transport on climate change.
Also, visits will be organized to companies and environmental protection
institutions and trees will be planted in a natural wild area.
Students will take pictures for the photo album of the project "Nature
inspires us" which will contain images of natural beauties from each
participating country and which will be published in a limited edition.

C2. S.O.S Water - Bulgaria
The LTT activity in Bulgaria aims to know and
promote the importance of water in the countries
involved, through research, experimental activities,
identification of environmental issues related to water
resources specific to each country, through the
exchange of information with partners.
An experimental seminar will be organized - Water
Pollution. Each team will bring 0.5 liters of water from
their country and analyze its chemical structure, then
analyze and compare the results. Also, activities will be
organized to learn about the traditions and culinary
dishes of Bulgaria, trees will be planted and the album
of the project Nature inspires us will be completed.

C3. Making a Smart Book for Making Smart Action
Decisions Against Climate Change at Each School Level -
Portugal
The aim of mobility is to develop skills for the formation of
social and environmental responsibility for all teachers
participating in the exchange of experience, in a European
context.
Teachers will work on creating an eBook that gathers
information about environmental education, as well as good
practices implemented by each school. Other activities: visits to
companies that promote sustainability and ecological
responsibility and tree planting. Each school will pre-select a
topic and prepare dynamic workshops that may include good
environmental practices developed by the school and / or at the
local or regional level. To create the eBook, ICT collaborative
learning software will be used. In addition to developing
communication and teamwork skills in a multilingual and
multicultural environment, this activity will raise awareness and
develop responsibility for the environment.

C4. We become climate-conscious journalists
Turkey
The main goal of the activity is the development of digital skills
by initiating in VR Google Expedition 360 degree photos and
flipgrid with practical application in solving environmental
problems and promoting education based on innovative
technologies. During the mobility in Istanbul, students will
participate in training courses, prepare an online news
newspaper about the effects of climate change in the world,
corona virus and climate change (sea level rise, ocean
acidification, drought, floods in the world) with transnational
teams.
Students will receive guidance from a professional photographer
about photography, as climate photography plays an important
role in raising awareness of climate change / disasters
There will also be a study visit to an institution relevant to the
project (a local or national newspaper). Students will photograph
the surroundings for the project photo album, and on the fourth
day they will participate in the Google Expedition and Flipgrid
Workshop.

C5. Creating movies to promote
civic commitment - Italy
The objective of the student exchange is to encourage the
civic engagement of students through theoretical and practical
experiences and by training the skills to create digital
educational content.
Students will learn to make audio-visual works on climate
change, highlighting the civic commitment of all for sustainability.
They will study and analyze the 17 objectives of the 2030
Agenda for Sustainable Development
Participants will learn about the challenges of the
contemporary world related to the environment, but will also be
asked to get involved in solving problems that affect the
environment.

C6. Use of information technology to solve a local
problem - Romania
The main goal is to develop digital skills by getting started in
the Arduino programming language and creating practical
applications for solving environmental problems and promoting
education based on innovative technologies.
This activity will be linked to outdoor environmental, civic and
social activities.
A workshop will be organized to build a temperature and
humidity recording system using Arduino LCD boards and
perform measurements in other environments. "Plant your
future" will be another volunteer activity for planting trees in a
deforested area in Argeș Co

Project sustainability
It will be achieved by using the products obtained within the project during the
teaching hours of the CDL, respectively the optional one in the partner schools or
during the classes that address these topics.
The project results will be accessible both locally, nationally and
internationally, by posting them on the project website, on the high school websites,
on the project results dissemination platform - EPRP, on the eTwinning platform and
on the Facebook page of the project
