7. Electroenergetics Development
Program
Assumptions for the sustainable development of
electroenergy sector:
Modernization and expansion of power lines (~4,8 mld zł)
Construction of a gas power plant (200 MWe)
Extension of a ECW power plant in Gdańsk
(energy unit 700-900 MWe)
Construction of a coal powr plant (1500-1700 MWe)

8. Electroenergetics Development
Program
Assumptions for the sustainable development of
electroenergy sector:
Construction of a plant for thermal utilization of wastes (10-15
MWe)
Construction of new wind power plants on land (1200-
1350 MWe)
Construction of off-shore wind power plants (450-550 MWe)
Construction of 150 biogas plants (together 75-85 MWe)
Extension of other renewable energy sources – power of a new
sources: around 30 MWe

16. Opportunities and plans for the
development of biogas sector in
Pomerania
• Pomerania has large potential in agricultural
biogas production in comparison to other
regions kraju,
• Biogas potential is estimated for about
217 mln m3/year, which corresponds to
app. 4500-4800 TJ/year
• There are 133 animal farms, where possible
biogas plants could be located.
2010-10-11 16
17. Opportunities and plans for the
development of biogas sector in
Pomerania
• Construction of a centralized biogas plants
converting agricultural wastes from the areas
of intensive livestock production, which will
be collecting wastes from other farms within
a radius of 10-20 km
2010-10-11 17
19. The cheapest energy is that
one, which was not
produced to cover
unnecessary losses …
