associates at the Spokane location, overseeing daily IT Production Operations for
Premera’s entire print production and batch processing claims adjudication
 Point working with vendors in regards to purchases of consumables and/or large
operational machinery
 Represented department at weekly Incident/Problem and Change Management meetings
 Responsible for shift scheduling, associate time maintenance and career paths
 Provided monthly metrics to senior management in regards to volumes of medical ID
cards as well as high speed printer output
 Directly involved in all interview processes and hiring of new associates
 Also provided coordination and participation in Premera’s Disaster Recovery bi-annual
exercises.

 Monitored/operated large scale IBM mainframe and attached equipment including
 batch recovery through inter-action with users/programmers as well as unassisted
recoveries utilizing all available applications and software tools
 Oversaw operations while keeping team lead informed of any or all occurrences including
employee relations, scheduling, documentation additions and/or alterations. While
providing input to supervisors in regards to performance appraisals
 Also responsible for technical training of other operators.

 Duties included monitor/operation of large scale IBM 9672-R36 mainframe as well as
 LAN, UNIX, RS6000
 Performed batch recovery through available resources CA7,CA11,TSO
 and REMEDY problem reporting system
 Other responsibilities included over seeing operations and/or providing training for
operators when necessary
 Responsible for notifying hardware/software venders of areas of concern, keeping
management abreast of issues concerning operations.
