and boiler operations.

Mini- series processors.

Maintenance Superintendent
Managedmaintenance of entire facility and production with a crewof 12 electricians, 32 millwrights
and 6 boiler operators, 6 supervisors, Maintenance planner,2 heavy equipment Mechanics and 3
parts clerks.
Duties included justification of capital projects, budget accounting, maintenance planning,
inventory control, outside contractor control, OSHAcompliance, DEQcompliance, State of LAand
other government entities. Implementation of several programs were required as part of my
responsibilities such developing a computer generated maintenance planning and inventory control
program, vibration analysis, oil sampling, infrared analysis, and a maintenance employee upgrade
program which trained maintenance employees via PC in common engineering practices.

Maintenance Manager
Supervised entire maintenance of production equipment and facility including 34 maintenance
employees, project coordination, budgeting, OSHA compliance. Implementation of CMMS
(Computer Maintenance Management System) and preventive maintenance program.
In my tenure I converted the ammonia system to PLC controlled centralized system and I co-designed
the MicroBlend ™ syrup blending system allowing us to increase refrigeration and improve quality,
while adding a third production line increasing production from 13 million casesa yearto 22 million
cases per year with a 99.7% quality rating and reducing syrup loss by 68% at changeover. The
blending system was the first of its kind at a Coca Cola production plant but is now the standard.

Supervised all aspects of industrial maintenance including preventive maintenance, work order
system,building maintenance,capital projects, partsinventory, forklift fleet, ammonia refrigeration,
capping systems, and safety coordination.
Promoted in 1990 to the position of Technical Consultant- Pepsi West working out of the Tulsa
Oklahoma Facility, responsibilities included supervision of fifteen maintenance employees,
planning maintenance schedules, capital project justification, implementing computer generated,
preventive, predictive and inventory maintenance system
Upgraded PLC's and plant electrical systems in several facilities in the western division of Pepsi
Cola. Responsible for all equipment installations and project coordination in team oriented
environment.
