Managed the rollout and operating of ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems including SAP, BPCS &
EROS covering both Corporate and SME businesses (regulated & un-regulated).
I commenced my career with Cork Marts Co-Op. (fiveyear period),as a costanalystin a high volume,highly
unionised beef processing plant.
Key achievements/experiences
Established, developed and sold profitable retail businesses, generating substantial return on investment
(roi) in both a buoyant and depressed economy, as an independent and franchise retailer.
Developed the first franchise model for Eason & Son Ltd. in ROI / NI, was consistently the top performing
franchisee, including store of the year award in 2012 and appointed by Eason onto Franchise Council.
Managed the integration of Block Drug’s supply chain operations into GSK’s global manufacturing supply
network, following GSK’s acquisition of the Block Drug Company.
Integral part of Block Drug Inc. Global Operations Team which designed & managed Block’s production
optimisation programmeto consolidatemanufacturingfromthirteen to six strategic supply sites ,including
the installation of SAP in the US plus de-centralisations of operations.
Appointed as operations leader for all supplies to the Japanese market, including all Kaizen projects.
Managed Block’s European Proc. / Cat. Teams to achieveinitial costsavings of €12Mand an additional
€5M in annualised savingsfrom process improvements in the areas of market, category & supply chain.
