Photoshop and Indesign
I sketched out some of the ideas that I could use for an
outline of my magazine, then picked my favorite one and
created a shape map. Once I decided on a portrait, I had
to photoshop the background out of the picture to make
it match more of the style of most GQ magazines. I then
opened an InDesign Sheet with 8.5 x 11 and placed the
photo that I had edited in Photoshop. The next step was
to make all of the text boxes with the right words to make
sure I got all of the articles that I wanted to inside my
design After that I spent a lot of time adding the final
touches. When I researched GQ magazines I studied the
little things that made them unique and went through my
design and added those things that were crucial to give
it the final touches.

Prezi
Once I had looked up some ideas of what a Prezi Presen-
tation looked like I decided to get an idea of the flow of
my presentation. I decided that I really wanted to have it
be super simple and super clear so this is what I ended
up doing for the flow of my Prezi. Once I had all of my five
ideas I decided to search Unsplash.com for my images to
get my message clearly. Then I went into Prezi added my
background to have everything else based off of. I added
all of my pictures and words and then messed with the flow
of the whole thing to make sure it all looked good.

Photoshop
I knew that I wanted to take a picture of the sky, so I
thought about color schemes with the sky. For the Photo I
just made sure that the colors that I needed to showcase
in the design were popping enough to make them show up
well for the client. I created a new 8.5 x 11 inch document
in Photoshop. Then I pulled my photo on top of it and
started designing. I then added rectangles to add contrast
to the color of the sky, and the ground. After that I
added the colors of the rectangles to make the three colors
evident. Then I added the phrase also contrasting with the
colors in the background.

Photoshop
I went through a lot of portrait pictures to see what I could
do with them. I found an image that I thought would be
cool, then I messed around with contrast. I then found
a quote that talked about contrast. Then I worried about
mixing the images together. The thing that took the longest
was finding a good font. I completely re-did this design up
to 3 times.

Illustrator
I drew some things out on paper of possible ideas for a
logologo-design. After brainstorming my ideas, I decided to
try to figure out illustrator. I had no clue how to use
illustrator, so it took me some time to get it all figured out.
I was able to get some basic Ideas down for my logos. I
made sure that I had all different types of logos for my
designs. I talked to a bunch of people and tried to figure
out which one they liked the best. I chose my favorite logo
and decided to change some aspects to make it flow better
for my cover letter and business cards. I made sure that
there were similar elements in both aspects.

Illustrator
I started brainstorming some topics and ended up with an
idea of an infographic of Brazil. I did some research to find
some data and found a basic facts sheet of what brazil is
like. I then sketched out some graphics that I knew I
wanted to include in the infographic. The next thing I did
was open up illustrator and started making my design. I
then went through and I drew out most of the graphics that
I wanted. I created the pie charts and other graphics to
organize the data. I found some other graphics that I didn’t
want to create. Then I finalized my organization.

Illustrator and Text Wrangler
First I created my logo in Illustrator. I used the logo from my
business identity project. I resized my logo to be around
300px. I created my HTML file and started adding my
content and tags. Then I created my CSS file and made
sure to link it in the HTML code. I made customizations in
my CSS to match the colors in my logo and changed the
fonts to what I preferred. I researched codings for cool
background and then found one that matched my theme. I
also matched the color of my logo with. I then made sure
to validate my HTML and CSS.

InDesign
I first picked an idea of what I was going to use for the ba-
sis of my website. I chose the sloth design I had previously
designed. I then started sketching an idea of how I wanted
to lay it out. I knew I wanted a large image that caught
peoples attention to be the main focus. After I sketched it
on paper, I then jumped into Photoshop and opened the
16-column grid. I started to create my wireframe to get me
started. After my wireframe, I started to add the actual
content. My final design ended up being a little different
from my original sketch and wireframe. I realized the
imortance of odd numbers to the flow of the design.
I decided to take out a large image as well.

Photoshop and InDesign
I first used the logo I had made previously. Then I went into
InDesign and started to design my brochure. I brought all
of my images into my design. Then I went in and organized
my body copy so it would flow well with my images that I
had selected. I saved one of my images as a Photoshop
document and used the selection tool. Then I could have a
spot in my brochure that used text wrapping. I then
exported the brochure document as a PDF and JPEGs.
Then I printed out the Brochure
