Radio and Indian Democracy:
- Democracy is commonly defined as a government of the people,
by the people and for the people. Freedom and democracy walk
hand in hand so Indian society is accepted democracy where the
media plays a pivotal role in the Indian democracy.

society after executive, legislature, and judiciary.

1965

In 1965 Ministry of I&B and UNESCO jointly started radio
Rural Forum. AIR Pune station (5 districts and 150 villeges)

Started in 1966,Aim was to educate farmer and provide them
