The four skills will be integrated through the whole class through the
discussion of the objects students need to go camping, listening, reading
and writing a dialogue.

3. Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: at the beginning of the class
I will show the learners a video about some objects they need when
going camping. The purpose is that they describe (?) the image and
discuss about the topic they will find through the whole lesson.

Seating arrangement: students will be sitting pairs.
· Assessment: what will be assessed and how. I will check that students
understand need and identify vocabulary by using pictures, asking
“what do you need when go camping ?“ and Yes/No questions.
PROCEDURE
ROUTINE ( 5 min)
Purpose: to start thelesson.
I will get into the classroomand greet my students “Good afternoon
students!How are you today?” they will probably say “fine, fantastic,
wonderful, tired”
Are you ready to start the class?
Yes!
Transition: Ok, let´s start…Let´ssee if you remember these pictures.
WARM – UP (10 min)
Purpose: to get students intothe moodof work and establishrapport.
To start the class I will show the students two pictures from the last two
classes and I will ask them if they remember them …
Where are they going?
4. Once they answer they are going camping, I willask them Do you usually
go camping? If so, do you like it ? where do you go? Who do you go with?.
If not, why don´tyou go?
Transition: Great ideas!!! Let´s see what you need when go camping..
PRESENTATION (20 min)
Purpose: to expose students to authentic use of language.
5. I will tell them that I will show them a video and they will tell me what it is
about. (I will show it in my computer since they don´t haveTV , I will try
that all of them can see it clearly).
After watching it , I will elicit that it is about the elements you need when
you go camping. I will ask them if they remember what objects are in the
video.
I will listen to them, they will sharewith the whole class.
I will show them some flashcards. So, some elementsyou NEED are..

Great!Let´s look at the following dialogue.. I willhang on the board a
poster with a dialogue and I will invite volunteers to read it. They will read
it many times to practiseand because they love reading.
Charles: where are you going Judie?
Judie: I´m going camping!
C: Who are you going with?
J: I´m going with my school friends!Where is my rucksack? Can you see it
Charles?
C: here it is! Whatdo you need to go camping?
7. J: I need my trekking boots, sunblock, binoculars..
C: are you taking your sleeping bag?
J: oh yes!ThanksCharlie!And I need my torch..
C: ok Jodie! Have fun!
J: ThanksCharlie!Bye!
After reading I will ask them what does Jodie need for her camping.
Pointing to the word highlighted in the dialogue . If they don´tunderstand
what it is I will explain them. Then, I will ask…whatelement is missing in
the dialogue?

DEVELOPMENT (10 min)
Purpose: to practice new vocabulary and structure
I will write in the middle of the board Go Camping and I will stick around it
all the words.
I will ask them to work in pairs and discuss which arethe most 5 useful
elements for camping and say why. They will sharewith the whole class.
Then, I will ask them to write their answer in their class book.
8. CLOSURE (20 min)
Purpose:to write a dialogue using new vocabulary and structure.
I will hang on the dialoguethey read in class again and I will invite
them to write a similar dialogueusing the wordsthey selected in the
previousactivity and vocabulary from previousclasseslike present
continuousstructure.
They will work in groupsof four. They willshare with the whole class
readingit.
I will walk around monitoringthem.
