Mental wellbeing affects all of us every day, and yet how often are
we asked about it? Our ability to be vulnerable and talk about it with
another person is almost always somewhere on the path to better
mental health, but this requires a listener with just the right
intention, mindset and nuanced set of skills. At this event, we will go
deeper into skills of:
- Connecting and creating a safe space for a wellbeing
conversation to happen
- Holding the space so that the talker can express and explore
what’s going on for them; and
- Closing the conversation in a way that supports the talker to
choose their way forward
