REFLECTIVE SUMMARY
Do you feel that this collection of work really
reflects your abilities and what you have
achieved this year through the LDM course?
Why or why not?
7.4 - Professional reflection and learning
to improve practice
Teaching-learning process in the midst of crisis is not easy at all, it takes so much work and effort coming from different
parties. The implementation of the LDM helped the teachers who are groping in the dark to see the light and continue to
work despite of uncertainties that our education system is facing. The trainings that the department have given to its
teachers were very essential for it opened the way and answered all the “hows” and “whys” of the teachers. The use of
ILMP or Individual Learning Monitoring plan helped us teachers to provide what our learners really need for this moment.
It helped us identify their weaknesses and aid it with the use of proper materials that helped them improved academically
even in this trying moment. The provision of MELCs and other essential resources that the teachers can use to continue
their job of feeding the minds of learners shows how the department is truly valuing its teachers by providing all these
things.
I think that this course is a great way to help teachers in the teaching and learning process. Through this course, we can
be able to adjust in the New Normal set-up in education by giving us knowledge on how to do, guiding us on how things
should be done and opens our mind on the necessary things needed in this new learning modality.

We distribute modules of our
learners every Monday and we
retrieved answer sheets every Friday.
In the picture, we have a box where
parents will drop their child’s
modules/output. Engaging
stakeholders particularly the
parents kept the educative
process became smooth, I can
directly report to the
parents/guardians whatever the
status the learners has.
