The Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL) held its 36th Annual General Assembly and induction/awarding ceremonies at the National Library in Manila. Over 150 members, guests, and exhibitors attended. Key events included the induction of the 2009 PAARL Executive Board, presentations of awards, and financial reports. PAARL continues its work in promoting the professional development of academic librarians in the Philippines.
