Learning the Basics of Digitization...
Along with emerging best practices in library digitization,
the conference was timely to meet the needs of academic/
research librarians who are currently involved or planning
to engage in digitization projects. The two-day conference
covered six sessions, plus half-day educational tour
around the beautiful Island of Coron.

Day one was highlighted by island hopping to Kayangan
Lake, the cleanest and clearest lake in the country, Twin
Lagoon and Balinsasayaw Island where participants
enjoyed the fellowship dinner and listened to folk songs
of Coron.

The conference was formally started on the second
day with a welcome message of Coron Vice-Mayor

PRC 2012 Outstanding Librarian
The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. warmly
