2. Rotoscope
This slide is about me learning how to Rotoscope. The photo on the left is the original
photo that I chose to practice on and then my experiment. This was a priority to do as I
didn’t know how to do this before I had planned my idea.
Once I got the hang of it I thought it was easy.
The tools I used were the lasso tool to go round the item I wanted to make cartoon then
copy it onto a new layer then change it to the colour.
This made a big process in my project as it was a big step I needed practice.
3. Front Cover
This is the experiment for my front cover, with the background and the pyjama bottoms
being patterned, I wanted to experiment with how I was going to make it easier for
myself. I used the same tools, I just changed the colour so it matched the theme but
also made it easy and quicker.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will include rotoscope as I want to make my photos
cartoon, this is the theme I want for my magazine so it is a
element I need to include.
