Girls run the world right? Well we would think that we are of course female and
Beyoncé thinks that too, thanks to her hit female empowerment song she
released in 2011. I strongly believe Beyoncé is such an amazing women to have
in our society as a female role model. She really influences us that we are all
beautiful, strong independent women. I honestly cannot thank her enough for
this. Good opening.
Beyoncé writes songs that have lots of references to females in power and I think
this is so important because young girls such as myself take note of these lyrics. I
love Beyoncé song girls run the world. I just think that the repetition of the “girls
run the world” is so empowering that it gets stuck in your head and you believe
this. “If I was a boy” is also such a powerful song as it shows what some guys
think in their head and she turns the roles around and you get to see what it
would be like if a women was like that. I just think that having such a powerful
and amazing women society like Beyoncé is well needed. Our society is so
screwed up and broken that having a women like this pulls us together and gives
us humanity. Move to later on.
We are all told on social networking what perfect girls look like with their stick
thin bodies and perfect hair, and anything they own in proportion and Beyoncé
teaches us that real women are not like this. This isn’t real. This is why I find her
such a style icon as she has such fun dressing like real women should dress. She
shows off her legs and stomach and she doesn’t care if she has curves. I think
that’s such an inspiring role model! I was watching an interview of her on the
view and she was saying how much real girls come in all shapes and sizes. Her
new line of clothes she has made has been made for bigger girls and skinny girls.
This is such a refreshing and equal concept. That is why she is my style icon! She
is 33 and she still rocks stilettos and shorts. Lets just take a minute to talk about
still rocking stilettos and… carrying her beautiful Blue Ivy. Now that is talented I
can hardly carry a handbag when wearing heels. She is just an all round talented
women. Better starting point here.
One of my favorite outfits that Beyoncé has worn is the leotard with the boots for
the MTV EMAS 2014. I just thought it was such an eye-catching outfit. It made me
want to watch her even more when she preformed. She is one of the most
inspirational women in music. Some people may argue and say it’s Rihanna or
Taylor Swift but I really don’t think it ever can be. There songs don’t reference as
many meaningful and inspirational elements as Beyoncé’s does. Her styles are
just so powerful that they reference her songs. She has such strong fashion
statements for example the Valentino ball gown at the Met Ball. She portrays
herself as such a passionate women through what she wears. I think Beyoncé is
an amazing role model for girls in our society.
