2. Propagation :
An plant to multiply by any process of natural
reproduction from the parent stock.
Type propagation :
(1) Sexual
(2) Asexual
3. (1) Sexual propagation :
By seed :
Plants are raised from seed and such plants are
known as seedling.
Example : Papaya, Phalsa, Kaghzilime, Jamun and
Guava
4. (2) Asexual propagation :
A vegetative part o plant
such as stem , leaf or root is placed in such an envirenment that it
develop into a new plant.
Type of asexual propagation :
(1) Division
(2) Cutting
(3) Layering
(4) Budding
(5) Grafting
