6. PHYSICAL CHANGE
Physical changes are those in which the
shape, size, or state of the matter changes,
but the substance is still essentially the same.
For example, chopping up a carrot or ice
melting into water, boiling of water, cutting
of wood, making salad, and etc.

8. CHEMICAL CHANGE
Chemical changes occur when a substance
combines with another to form a new
substance.
Example: baking soda and vinegar creating
carbon dioxide, iron rusting, and wood
burning.
