This document discusses problems with Pakistan's educational system and suggestions for improvement. It notes that primary education enrollment is 67.57%, secondary is 43.82%, and post-secondary is 14.85%. Key issues include insufficient funding, outdated curriculums, lack of properly equipped technology labs, inexperienced teachers, and insufficient career counseling. Suggestions to address these include allocating more of the annual budget to education, providing updated curriculums and courses, building new and renovating existing labs, hiring more qualified and experienced teachers, and improving career counseling support for students.
3. Improving E d u c a t i o n S y s t e m
The term educational system refers to the general
structure of a country’s educational organization.
Normally the system that governs the education of a
country represents a general law that develops and
makes explicit all the elements of the academic area.
Education is formed by a set of components that
together make up a system.
6. INSUFFICENT FUND
Less funding means that smaller staff, fewer
programs,and diminished resources for
students are common school problems.In
some cases, schools are unable to pay for
essential maintenance. A recent report
noted that close to a quarter of all public
schools are in fair or poor condition and
that about 60 percent of schools need
renovations and repairs.
7. OUTDATED CURRICULUM
Pakistan seems to be backward in technology
and innovation. The key reason behind this is
our outdated curriculum which restricts the
capacity building and creativity among the
students. The present generation is learning the
same knowledge which the last two
generations have learnt.Unfortunately to say
that we are not able to produce talented
scientists and subject specialist. For that reason
we didn't get job in market because companies
want talented and skilled candidate
8. TECHNOLOGY LABS
Quarters of schools in the country do not have
fully equipped labs science laboratories for
students.As per the government policy,the
high schools should have at least a joint science
lab whereas the higher secondary schools
should have separate science labs for the
subjects of physics, chemistry and biology but
in case of these two districts, such policy has
not been followed properly.
9. INEXPERIENCED STAFF
Inexperienced teacher also lack the
skills and knowledge about the
subject and are not usually
conversant with the student and
they don't have method of teaching
to cover and taught the lessons to
students .Inexperienced teacher are
the main cause of decreasing the
ratio of skilled persons and litreacy
rate.
10. CAREER COUNSELLING
Career counselling is a domain of
counseling that focuses on helping
individuals find the right career pathway. In
career counselling the individuals receive
guidance from professional counselors that
provide expert advice on the potentials,
Aptitude,motivations,skills and
shortcomings with the use of carefully
designed assessment tools.
