1. How did you use media
technologies in the contruction
research planning and
evaluation stages.

2. Softwares
IMOVIE- was used during the whole editing
process of the music video. This was an extremely
important software as all the interviews were also
edited on there.
Adobe Photoshop - I used this software in the
construction the ancillary texts such as the digi-pak
and also the advert. At first when I was using this
software I was unsure of how to fully use the tools
that were available. However as I continued to use
this software I picked up the necessary skills, by
also learning from my peers and was able to
construct parts of the digi-pak and also the
magazine advert.

3. Windows movie maker- I used this software when
making the making the storyboard. After taking the
images I uploaded them onto windows movie maker
and then also added the audio creating, an animatic
storyboard.
-I also used this software in the evaluation stage to
put together the presentations I had made using an
audio recording and screen recording. I synced both
of these on windows movie maker
Jing- This was a screen recording software which I
used during the evaluation stage to help me illustrate
my answers.

4. Moyea- I had to use this software in order to convert
the screen recordings from Jing in the evaluation
process.. This was because the SWF files were not
compatible with windows movie maker, therefore I
used this software to convert the SWF format to AVI
format, which could be edited with windows movie
maker
PowerPoint- I used PowerPoint during the research
and the evaluation stage. This software helps me to
present information in a clear and precise way
Microsoft word- I used this programme to type up
any notes. I also used this during the planning stage
when making my shooting schedule

5. Photo booth- this software was used to record
interviews during the audience research and also
during the audience feedback on the music video

6. Websites
Google- this was my primary search engine which I
use when needing to find information on anything.
YouTube- I used this website throughout. During the
planning, the research and also the evaluation. I used
this website to upload videos so they were compatible
with the e-blogger website
E-blogger- I used this website throughout the course
of planning research and construction as I posted
everything I did on this website

7. Prezi- I used this website to display my work in a
unique way during the planning research and also
the evaluation stage.
FACEBOOK- I used Facebook in order to gain
feedback from audiences, by posting virtual
questionnaires online.
Slideshare- I used this website during all the stages
except from construction to make PowerPoint
presentations available to view on Blogger

8. Hardware
MACINTOSH- I used this primarily to edit the
music video using IMOVIE as it is only available on
MAC computers, to enchance to quality of my
media products.
PC- I used my pc to update my blog and use such
softwares such as windows movie maker as they
are only available for PC’s
Printer- I used a printer to print of questionnaires
during the reasearch phase.

9. Digital camera- This was used when during the
construction stage of the music video. All of the footage
from the video was recorded on this digital camera and
then uploaded onto IMOVIE.
Mobile Phone- I used my mobile phone to keep in
contact with my group during the construction stage to
make sure everybody arrived promptly to film. Also we
used mobile phones to take pictures for the storyboard.
Another use I had for my phone was using it to record
sound of myself during the evaluation process, which
was extremely helpful as it allowed me to present in a
totally new way.
