The worksheet appearancewill be the samein the hard
copy as well.
8. Formulas:
It isa package of different in-built formulas/functions
which can be used by user just by selecting the cell or
range of cells for values.
9. Data:
TheData Tab helps to perform different operations on a
vast set of data like analysisthrough what-if analysis
tools and many other data analysistools, removing
duplicate data, transpose the row and column, etc. It
also helps to accessdata(s)from different sources as
well, such as from Ms-Access,from web, etc.
10. Review:
Thistab providesthe facility of thesaurus, checking
spellings,translatingthe text, and helps to protect and
share the worksheet and workbook.
11. View:
It contains the commands to managethe viewof the
workbook, show/hide ruler, gridlines, etc, freezing
panes,and addingmacros.
12. How to open MS excel
Step1:-Clickon Start.
Step2:-ThenAll Programs.
Step3:-Nextstep is to click on MS Office.
Step4:-Thenfinally, choose the MS-Excel option.
13. Creating a new spreadsheet
In Excel3 sheets are alreadyopened by default, now to
adda new sheet :
In the lowermost pane in Excel, you can find a button.
Clickon that button to adda new sheet.
14. We can also achievethe same by Right-clickingon the
sheet number before which you want to insert the
sheet.
Clickon Insert.
Select Worksheet.
ClickOK.
15. Opening previous spread sheet:
On the lowermost pane in Excel,you can find the
name of the current sheet you have opened.
16. On the left side of this sheet, the name of previous
sheets are also availablelike Sheet 2, Sheet 3 will be
availableat the left of sheet4, clickon the
number/nameof the sheet you want to open and the
sheet will open in the sameworkbook
17. Managing the spreadsheet
Simply navigating between the sheets.
Right-clickingon the sheet name or number on the
pane.
Choose among the various options availablelike,
move, copy, rename, add,delete etc.
18. You can move/copy your sheet to other workbooks as
well just by selectingthe workbook in the To
workbook and the sheet before you want to insert the
sheet in Before sheet.
19. To save the workbook
Clickon the Office Button or the File tab.
Clickon Save As option.
Write the desiredname of your file.
ClickOK.
