What is Personal Branding
Personal branding is the practice of people
marketing themselves and their careers as brands.
Step up to stand out
In today’s marketplace, it’s tough to stand out.
Good grades and lots of extracurricular activities
won’t guarantee that you’ll land the job of your
DREAMS. There are many qualified candidates out
there.
The secret to standing out is to impress oneself—in person, on
paper, and online.
Making Plan & Set Goal
To set up a personal Brand:-
One must have a plan to develop his/her mark in their respective
industry.
Primary purpose of a Branding is to define what the business is, it’s
future vision & adapt over time, financing and its utilization, setting team,
organizational structure and policy.
One should work on their:-
• unique skills,
• strengths and talents.
The world is for the winner, not for Loser. There is no room for
losers. So mindset must be for winning.
Winner, not Loser
Understanding Inside and out.
Understand your industry
Staying Up to date.
Be a Thoughtful Leader.
Passion is the fuel of life
Passion can play a positive role at work, as well as at play.
It helps to improve your memory and your mental, emotional and
physical health.
Pursue Your Passion
Branding happens in the minds of consumers.
It creates an appeal of your product on someone’s mind, but
getting the word out is still
what brings in the customers.
Focus on Customers
• Listen, don't just talk
• Ask, don’t command
• Be real and have a storyline,
• Be interesting and say thank you.
You need to get out and make yourself visible and accessible. You
can’t hide in your office behind your computer and expect to build
a personal brand.
Be Visible and Accessible
Make your social media profiles open to the public.
Attend industry conferences, even if it’s just to networking or to
socialize.
Find influencers within your industry - even mid-level people
working on their own branding.
Reach out to them directly and start building a
relationship -- but not a “networking” relationship.
Build a high-level relationship that graduates to
a genuine friendship.
