This document summarizes the progress and goals from Round 1 Week 2 of an internship program. It discusses surveying students and parents about a summer program, making progress on a plate scanner project, and setting goals for the next round. The team feels productive having made a flyer, interviewed stakeholders, improved the plate scanner design, and set future objectives around revising materials and demonstrating the scanner. Overall the interns rated their week between 9 and 10.5 out of 10 and felt it was very productive.

3. SURVEY IDEAS & NEXT STEPS
Interviewing process with students and parents, and understanding the
logistics that comes with conducting the survey.
NEXT STEPS:
1. Constella: MBTS could upload information about the summer courses and gain
exposure through this platform. This allows parents and students to learn
about these courses and become interested.
1. Flyers: When conducting the survey with parents and students, provide
parents flyers with further information about the program and course and
cost options.
1. PLT: During school hours, interview lower classmen students about their
thoughts on the program and future participation.

4. PLATE SCANNER PROGRESS
● Added mounting piece so that the camera can achieve a
better focus
● Redesigned the cage system - instead of mobile, the cage
should be ridge and the eyepiece should be adjustable
● Designed and printed all parts and attached them
● 4/4 pieces are printed

6. GOALS FOR NEXT ROUND
● Interviewing students (Ms. Chen post on Constella)
● Review survey survey and interview results to get a
better idea for the direction we want to take with
the program
● Revise the flyer
● Make Plate scanner more stable
● Plate scanner demonstration

7. HOW WE FEEL ABOUT THIS WEEK..
Alessia - 9: This week was very productive and I was able to learn a lot
about customer and communication
Christina - 9.5: A lot of plate scanner work, and logistics for
interviewing parents and students. Great progress overall.
Holger - 10.5: Overall happy with the progress the entire team has made
during round.
Justin - 9.5: Proud of the work our team accomplish, and feel excited for
next years.
Alex - 9: A lot of progress on the plate scanner, and very productive
internship round.
Drew - 9.5: Great work, and a lot of progress being made with the plate
scanner
