Customer rejects reduction, 60 % of improvement, 4 months with zero quality rejects in 2015.

Lincoln MKZ vehichles.

External Quality 20 PPM’s in 2008 through the potential failure mode and effect analysis, doing preventive and
permanent corrective actions.
Defect-Short shot: Actions-machine screws and barrels were changed; cushion was added to the shot size.
Defect-Splay: Dryers were fixed and filters were cleaned and changed frequently.
Regrind process was improved; pellet size was improved changing the grinder equipment blades.
On time delivery 100%.
Inspection method improvements; go-no go gages and poka yoke fixtures were developed and implemented.

2 Years with no QR’s received from the customers. Customer complaints reduction. External PPM’s reduction
from 3000 to 1pr5.
Intelligent Power Module successful approval by Daimler Chrysler in 2001. Great relationship with the
customers. Earned Ford Q1 Award in 1999.
