develop studies at Ecko plant; Lakewood, NY.
 Lead the implementation of ERP concerning the BOMs accuracy to achieve the 98% goal.
The BOMs accuracy was increased from 90% to 98% en eight months.
 Develop new local suppliers for purchased components used on Industrial radiators (CTR –

 Manage all the activities related to Quality Assurance department.

 Implement and keep an internal system to assure the optimal conditions of the measurement
equipment including the verification and calibration.

administration related to Quality Assurance.
 Follow up all the activities of Receiving Inspection.
 Quality Assurance activities to develop PPAPs of Nuevo Laredo plant.
 Require and integrate the PPAPs submitted by our suppliers related to OE products.
 Develop the yearly meeting about Management Review in accordance with ISO/TS 16949
requirements.
 Schedule the external and internal audits of ISO 14001.
 Develop an follow up all the activities of Nuevo Laredo plant laboratory: Durability tests
(pressure cycle test and burst test), brazing analysis, destructive tests, root-cause analysis in
microscope, aluminum CLAD analysis, etc.
 Develop an follow up the activities related to metrology, calibration and verification.
Main achievements:
 Develop the Master Gantt Chart and lead the Q1 project for Nuevo Laredo Plant, Southaven,
MS Distribution Center; and Nashville, TN corporate offices.
NOTE: We obtained the Q1 certificate and plaque by FORD Motor Company in October
2013.
 Implement the MMOG (Materials Management Operations Guideline) requirements related to
FORD products including the electronic communication between FORD and Vista-Pro
Automotive.

 Develop the Master Gantt Chart and lead the transferring of the shipping point from
Southaven, MS to Laredo, TX warehouse related to OE products for FORD.
 Implement in the Quality Assurance department all the procedures and activities required by
ISO/TS 16949.
 Take part of the lead team to upgrade our Quality System from ISO 9001 to ISO/TS 16949
and lead the first external audit under this standard.
NOTE: We got the certification in February 2011 under ISO/TS 16949:2009 by first time at
Vista-Pro Automotive.
 Implement the continuous improvement system and procedure for any issue related to the
quality product.
 Get the yearly goal for all Quality Assurance Metrics.
 Obtain the responsibility to submit the SCARs and have the direct communication with our
suppliers.
NOTE: Previously, our corporate was the responsible of this activity.
 Optimize the Quality Assurance human resources. Three positions of QA Technicians and
two positions of QA Supervisor were eliminated.
 Implement the LPA (Layered Process Audits) in all the plant areas.
 Implement a robust system in Receiving Inspection to avoid production shutdowns and
quality issues in our final products.
 Implement a 6 Sigma project to upgrade our FPY of leaks (PTA Radiators) from 95.99% to
98.13% in three months.
 Take part of the lead team to submit all the PPAPs for GM and FORD to obtain the
production approval (transferred models from Reynosa Plant to Nuevo Laredo Plant).
 Develop the Manufacturing Site Assessment for FORD by first time at Vista-Pro Automotive
company.
 All the external audits under ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 have been approved satisfactorily
without any major non-conformance.
 Implement the traceability for all OE products such as Radiators, Heaters, Oil Coolers for our
customers (FORD, GM, ACH, POLARIS, TWI/ECS).
 Implement all the requirements of our Quality System ISO/TS 16949 for all the models and
processes transferred from Reynosa plant to Nuevo Laredo plant in August 2011 year. We
approved the surveillance audit in February 2012 including all transferred from Reynosa.
 The customer complaints metric has had a favorable trend. It has been improved from 961
PPMs (2006 year) to 24 PPMs (2014 YTD).

Position: General Quality Systems and Laboratories Supervisor.
Main activities:
 Supervise and monitor the activities of Quality Systems, Metrology Laboratory and
Metallurgical Laboratory with the support of the corresponding Supervisors, with the main
objective to assure the accomplishment of all the activities and goals in accordance with the

established procedures in Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant, customer requirements, and ISO/TS
16949 requirements.
 Assure the accomplishment of Quality Standards of processed loads in Heat Treatment
furnaces of Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant through the hardness tests and different
metallurgical studies which are developed in the Metallurgical Laboratory.
 Coordinate and follow up with the three Business Units the integration of Internal Corrective /
Preventive Actions through the 8Ds methodology until each single action is completed.
 Assure all the measuring machines (CMMs, Gear Analyzers, Profilometers, Harness Testers,
Stereoscopes, Microscopes, etc.) of Laboratories are maintained in optimal conditions and
with their current calibrations.
 With the support of Metrology Laboratory Supervisors assure an appropriate verification and
calibration system of all the gauges used in the production lines, and assure the development
of R&R studies (MSA), correlation studies an special studies.
 With the support of the Quality System Supervisor assure an appropriate annual schedule of
internal audits ISO/TS 16949.
 Work together with Human Resources department in order to schedule all trainings required
by ISO/TS 16949 and different customers, for example, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, AMEF,
MSA, SPC), BIQS, etc. All involved employees are considered including Internal Auditors.
 Assure that the Customer Specific Requirements are incorporated in Linamar Quality System
by Quality Systems Supervisor.
 Coordinate the integration of the monthly presentation of Management Review.
 Assure that CQI-9 and CQI-15 assessments are integrated and updated yearly on time by the
Metallurgical Laboratory Supervisor (Metallurgical Engineer).
 Review the Customer Portals on a daily basis in order to verify the Linamar performance and
assure a fast response when is required.
 Assure a satisfactory Q1 Score in SIM (Supplier Improvement Metrics) of FORD Portal.
Main achievements:
 Cero non-conformances in external audits ISO/TS 16949 and customers audits (2015 and
2016) related to areas under my responsibility.
 Implement a deep analysis of monthly LPA results and continuous improvement activities.
 Incorporate a more effective LPA System increasing from 5 audit check list to 433 audit check
lists in order to be able to develop an audit by operation and not by complete production line.
 Eliminate the overtime in Metrology Laboratory and Metallurgical Laboratory since August
2016.
 Develop a training of Q1 Awareness for all involved employees.
 Obtain a satisfactory score of 5Ss in both laboratories.
 Improve the follow up of maintenance for CMMs and Gear Analyzers.
 Incorporate a daily report to inform the Quality Manager properly.
 Participate as part of the leading team to incorporate all the BIQS requirements by first time in
Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant. The customer audit was passed in the first attempt.
 Incorporate a master plan to certify the Laredo Texas Warehouse under ISO/TS 16949 by
first time. The external audit was passed without any non-conformance in November 4
th

2016.
 Incorporate a master plan for the transition from ISO/TS 16949:2009 to IATF 16949:2016.
 Pursuit a closely follow up of Materials disputes related to the FORD Delivery Metric in order
to keep five months in a row with 100 points (Production and Service).

NOTE: We got the certification in February 2011 under ISO/TS 16949:2009 by first time at Vista-Pro Automotive.  Implement the continuous improvement system and procedure for any issue related to the quality product.  Get the yearly goal for all Quality Assurance Metrics.  Obtain the responsibility to submit the SCARs and have the direct communication with our suppliers. Three positions of QA Technicians and two positions of QA Supervisor were eliminated.  Implement the LPA (Layered Process Audits) in all the plant areas.  Implement a robust system in Receiving Inspection to avoid production shutdowns and quality issues in our final products.  Implement a 6 Sigma project to upgrade our FPY of leaks (PTA Radiators) from 95.99% to 98.13% in three months.  Take part of the lead team to submit all the PPAPs for GM and FORD to obtain the production approval (transferred models from Reynosa Plant to Nuevo Laredo Plant).  Develop the Manufacturing Site Assessment for FORD by first time at Vista-Pro Automotive company.  All the external audits under ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 have been approved satisfactorily without any major non-conformance.  Implement the traceability for all OE products such as Radiators, Heaters, Oil Coolers for our customers (FORD, GM, ACH, POLARIS, TWI/ECS).  Implement all the requirements of our Quality System ISO/TS 16949 for all the models and processes transferred from Reynosa plant to Nuevo Laredo plant in August 2011 year. We approved the surveillance audit in February 2012 including all transferred from Reynosa.  The customer complaints metric has had a favorable trend.   • 7. 6 established procedures in Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant, customer requirements, and ISO/TS 16949 requirements.  Assure the accomplishment of Quality Standards of processed loads in Heat Treatment furnaces of Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant through the hardness tests and different metallurgical studies which are developed in the Metallurgical Laboratory.  Coordinate and follow up with the three Business Units the integration of Internal Corrective / Preventive Actions through the 8Ds methodology until each single action is completed.  Assure all the measuring machines (CMMs, Gear Analyzers, Profilometers, Harness Testers, Stereoscopes, Microscopes, etc.) of Laboratories are maintained in optimal conditions and with their current calibrations.  With the support of Metrology Laboratory Supervisors assure an appropriate verification and calibration system of all the gauges used in the production lines, and assure the development of R&R studies (MSA), correlation studies an special studies.  With the support of the Quality System Supervisor assure an appropriate annual schedule of internal audits ISO/TS 16949.  Work together with Human Resources department in order to schedule all trainings required by ISO/TS 16949 and different customers, for example, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, AMEF, MSA, SPC), BIQS, etc. All involved employees are considered including Internal Auditors.  Assure that the Customer Specific Requirements are incorporated in Linamar Quality System by Quality Systems Supervisor.  Coordinate the integration of the monthly presentation of Management Review.  Assure that CQI-9 and CQI-15 assessments are integrated and updated yearly on time by the Metallurgical Laboratory Supervisor (Metallurgical Engineer).  Review the Customer Portals on a daily basis in order to verify the Linamar performance and assure a fast response when is required.  Assure a satisfactory Q1 Score in SIM (Supplier Improvement Metrics) of FORD Portal. Main achievements:  Cero non-conformances in external audits ISO/TS 16949 and customers audits (2015 and 2016) related to areas under my responsibility.  Implement a deep analysis of monthly LPA results and continuous improvement activities.  Incorporate a more effective LPA System increasing from 5 audit check list to 433 audit check lists in order to be able to develop an audit by operation and not by complete production line.  Eliminate the overtime in Metrology Laboratory and Metallurgical Laboratory since August 2016.  Develop a training of Q1 Awareness for all involved employees.  Obtain a satisfactory score of 5Ss in both laboratories.  Improve the follow up of maintenance for CMMs and Gear Analyzers.  Incorporate a daily report to inform the Quality Manager properly.  Participate as part of the leading team to incorporate all the BIQS requirements by first time in Linamar Nuevo Laredo Plant. The customer audit was passed in the first attempt.  Incorporate a master plan to certify the Laredo Texas Warehouse under ISO/TS 16949 by first time.
