Procter and Gamble – Rotary Packaging Dept. Line Leader; Kansas City, Kansas August 2010 – Present
• Technical expert enabling $20MM savings by leading production rate increase project on three packing lines; Achieved a
6% throughput increase without adding an initially proposed additional packing line.
• Developed loss elimination capability in 30+ technicians and line shift leaders to drive out 34 machine stops resulting in
51 less touches a day, increased morale, and a 2% increase in process reliability
• Qualified new incoming technicians on labeling and filling equipment to more effectively troubleshoot downtime and
changeover issues; allowed technicians to proactively serve the packing operation to achieve >82.5% process reliability
• Operations technical expert leading loss and breakdown eliminations across the entire line.
• Department Owner for “Clean, Lube, & Inspect,” or CIL system: Directed efforts with equipment owners to develop CIL
standards for their equipment, created a department specific CIL tracking system which won the design for site-wide
implementation, and developed training standards for all packing technicians to use the new CIL tracking system
Procter and Gamble –Process Department Start-Up Leader; Kansas City, Kansas May 2007 – August 2010
• Led a team to deliver a $3.2MM zero-loss formulation project for late product deviation (LPD) skids and
recycle tank additions to expand line formula-change capabilities by 47%, which is optimizing the supply
chain network by saving $3.6MM.
• Represented the Kansas City Site, and along with London and Takasaki leaders, developed a global
platform code for all late product deviation skids to standardize trainings, vendor acceptance tests, new
formula validations, and to be in compliance with FDA and OSHA regulations
• Delivered brine tank storage for the converting department, which conserved 10 effort hours a month and prevented 26
hours of unplanned downtime from the chemical processing area
• Technical expert for a new manifold installation that increased formula availability by enabling future
growth to 32 perfumes; redesigned and executed update on the LPDs to zero-loss standards of excellence
Procter and Gamble – Electrical & Instrumentation Technician 2 August 2005 – May 2007

• Simplified work processes, increased floor morale, and eliminated confusion by using RSLogix and WonderWare to
redesign HMI screens from scroll menus to easy-use screen push buttons
• Provided operational input on new palletizer that included a slip sheet inserter and photo eye controlling logic; identified
and fix issues while at the vendor acceptance test; installation expert and trainer for the new system
• Department qualifier on all pieces of equipment on a rotary line: Filler, Labeler, Case Former, Depalletizer, Case Packer,
Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper
