• English is their third language
• (Ubian - Malay- English)
• Not familiar with English
• No interest in learning English
English is a foreign language!
6. Issues
• Geographical position
- Far from city ( 53KM to Kudat)
- Limited internet & learning
sources
- No “outside world” experience.
7. How to make our pupils have the desire to
learn a language that is foreign for them?

Involve Ubian language
• Motivation for pupils to learn
• Familiar with their own language
Use dictionary
• Promote self-learning
• enhance vocabulary
• Learn how to categorize words.
