overall operation of family owned business with 25 to 30 full time employees at any given time. Managed the business
that generates 5-6M annually in receipts from several different profit centers of the company. Responsible for managing
over 300 slips, 150 valet boats, service, sail, canvas, sale, and fiberglass departments. Controlling winter and summer
storage of 600-1000 boats annually.
Developed efficiency-enhancing workflow/process improvements that made it possible to accommodate
increasing responsibilities necessitated by use of marine software Dockmaster.
Improved inventory control (purchasing/receiving), billing, and work order processes, which resulted in
increased number of billable work hours.
Re-designed company website to make it more user friendly in order to generate more traffic.
Improved and managed boat storage control processes resulting in six consecutive years of income growth from
time of implementation.
Expanded and grew Fay’s presence at boat shows/expos by representing more brands, services and
manufacturers.
Strengthened company’s advertising position through the online, TV, radio and social media channels. Created
departmental videos, owners’ timeline/history documents and got the company in New England Boating TV
show and magazine.
Quickly became a trusted assistant to the company president and office manager and earned a reputation for
