There is only one conductor

mode to propagate is only 2:1

Cutoff Frequency equation, fc= (1.8412 * c /2*pi*a)
The highest possible band width allowing only a single
mode to propagate is only 1.3601:1

Magnetic field is perpendicular to direction of propagation.
Electric components are in the direction of propagation.

Both Electric & Magnetic field of signal is
perpendicular to direction of propagation.
