2. Muscle Shoals, AL
Robbins, LLC had their annual Christmas Party off campus
December 14th, 2015 at 1:00 pm. This was the first time the event
was held off campus. This event was held at a local restaurant
named Rhoda "Ps" and her establishment is well known for their
Southern cuisine. The Agenda consisted of a welcome to everyone,
2015 state of business address, 2016 plans and needs, as well as
prize drawings and presentation of service awards. The Associates
really enjoyed this event and a great time was had by all!
3. Middlefield, OH
Gold Key Processing, Inc. held their annual
Christmas Party on December 11th. The lunch was
held at Mary Yoder’s, a local restaurant. After eating
lunch, we handed out numerous service awards and
had a raffle for prizes including a handmade quilt.
After the party, we had our annual White Elephant
gift exchange. Everyone enjoyed this wonderful
lunch and the time spent together.
The Gold Key campus also adopted a local family for
the holiday season. We were provided with a wish
list of presents, and were able to give the family
everything on their list. It was a wonderful and
humbling feeling to be able to play Santa and deliver
the gifts to our family.
4. Queretaro, Mexico
The annual end-of-year party, actually the celebration of
the Virgin of Guadalupe --Patron Saint of Mexico--, took
place on December 12th. The Associates' families
attended this event and the children were given toy
helmets with the Hexpol logo on them. A priest was
brought in to say Mass in the Virgin's honor. The families
were given a plant tour and there were also small fair
rides for the children to enjoy. A hearty meal was served
to all. A good amount of select presents were raffled in
the end, with about half the families winning something.
At the end of this great day, the children were given
presents: soccer balls for the boys and dolls for the girls.
5. Jonesborough, TN
On December 17, 2015 the Associates of HEXPOL
Compounding in Jonesborough, Tennessee were treated
to an amazing luncheon to celebrate the Christmas
holiday at a very popular area restaurant called “The
Farmer’s Daughter.” Since a large number of
Jonesborough’s Associates have been with the company
for many years, a number of them almost since the
beginning in 1974, it always seems almost like a family
get-together rather than a company celebration.
Approximately 90 of our production, administrative and
managerial Associates were in attendance.
After everyone had eaten until they were so full they could
barely walk, there was time to sit around and socialize with
friends and co-workers. Managing Director, Larry Lowe,
spoke to the assembly about our plant, the company and
business over the past 12 months. He also expressed his
appreciation for all of the hard work and the dedication of
Jonesborough’s entire workforce. All of the Associates
were delighted with the luncheon!
6. Burton, OH
The holiday luncheon held for Burton Associates on
December 11, 2015 had over 200 in attendance
including 17 retirees. Great fellowship was enjoyed
by all in celebrating the team's successful year.
Business updates/recognitions were given by the
leadership team. Service awards were presented
honoring 525 combined years of service. Multiple
raffles and drawings were well appreciated and
enjoyed by everyone.
Two very successful drives were held at the Burton
campus to help several Geauga County families
have more enjoyable holidays. All the generous food
and toy donations by Associates were greatly
appreciated.
