Category: DIY/Paints (Products- Hardware tools, Tool boxes, Timbers, Cabinet fittings,

Responsible for enhancing company profits by acquiring suitable goods at a competitive price
through sensible planning and careful purchasing.
• To assist the buyer to achieve the sales budget of the year
• Critical Path ownership (ensuring processes are completed on time) to achieve
availability targets
• Liaise with suppliers on correct completion of article master templates
• Reviewing retail prices and margins upon receipt of each import order
• Following up on orders placed and working with vendors to resolve shipping/delivery
issues

• Co-ordinate and produce the necessary administration for product recalls, as and when
required.
• Liaise with VM teams to ensure all planogram changes are communicated to B&M
• Liaise with the relevant Buyer and Store Operations for authorization and sign off for
all store communications to be sent to store
• Liaise with Marketing to amend POS materials to agreed criteria
• Liaise with Supply Chain team, implement category buying decisions on stock levels
• Manage shipment and delivery dates as per schedule
• Upload all promotions accurately onto the system, within agreed timescales
