Developed a browser-based application to maintain Private Equity investments. Functionality to store
acquisition and exit metrics, quarterly financials plus qualitative information. Besides standard financial metrics
(e.g. Sales, EBITDA) application also facilitates tracking company-specific performance measures (e.g. ARPU,
New Subscribers). Responsibility also included preparation of user manual and training end-users. Used by
teams across offices in Bahrain, London and New York.

development expenses. I was responsible for collaborating with end users for managing site-specific

customizations/configurations and communicating the same to external product support. I was also involved in
testing all changes prior to release, training end-users and providing day-to-day support to users across offices
in Bahrain, London and New York.
Managed a team of 3 developers to redesign legacy desktop systems (developed in MS-Access, MS Excel) as
integrated, modular browser-based applications. Enhancements were largely based on user discussions and
features provided by new development products. This exercise resulted in richer functionality and significant
operational efficiency.
ePairs Inc., California, USA, CRM Consultant (2001 – 2002)
Developed an in-house application for maintenance of corporate clients and other business contacts.
Functionality included project details, resources involved, project timelines and client feedback. Reporting
features enabled querying on various project metrics, e.g. project type, client type, project duration, etc. This
was part of an effort to learn Siebel and create in-house expertise in CRM-related technologies.
US Interactive, California, USA, CRM Consultant (2000 – 2001)
Part of the maintenance team for Asia Online deployed onsite at Canberra (Australia) for their customer
management system. Responsibilities included error troubleshooting and resolution, enhancing user interface
based on client discussions and feedback and updating system documentation.
Oracle Financial Services (formerly CITIL), India, Software Developer (1993 – 2000)
Part of 2-member team for in-house development of Human Resource Management System using Paradox.
Was responsible for coding and testing various modules. System was used to maintain static employee data,
track professional development (training/seminars attended), promotions and leave information. Functionality
provided basic querying and reporting ability.
Developed a Library Management System using MS-Access. Was responsible for initiating user discussions for
requirements collection, database design, coding and testing. System provided functionality to maintain static
data for different types of literature (i.e. books, magazines, newspapers, etc.) and record check-in/check-out
information. Main querying features included reports for overdue materials and tracking employee loan history.
Part of quality assurance team in Crossmar Inc. (Citi subsidiary) for phased implementation of Global Portfolio
System (GPS). Responsibilities included self-learning Rational Robot, an automated testing tool, and creating
scripts to test individual screens and multiple-screen functionality.
