SOLUTION
We connect farmers to their crops
Agrosmart monitors crops installing different sensors in the fields
measuring up to 14 environmental conditions locally to identify the
crops microclimate and real time needs. We combine that with
satellite imaging and weather forecast to help farmers make better
operational decisions. They can access an online dashboard from
wherever they are in any device and check what is going on in the
farm, what should be done in each plot and can learn based on the
crop history.

Since Brazil has large crop areas with poor infrastructure with no cellphone/Internet coverage in the fields, we had to develop our own electronic
to read different kind of sensors and have a larger communication range. Agrosmart is the first company to break connectivity barrier in Brazil.
Each plot has one Agrosmart module with different sensors. We use a mesh network where one module talk to the other using radio frequency
that can reach up to 14km, until they reach our data logger that is positioned in an unique point of the farm where is required to have a signal that
can be GSM/Farm own Internet in the office or satellite. With the data arriving every 15min we run the algorithms to make the recommendations.

Plots are different within a farm and have different needs. We
collect real time data in each of the plots to be able to provide them
with exactly they need at each moment of the season.

We combine different methods, evaluating climate, soil, crop
health and development, to identify what is the the exact
amount of water needed by the crop.
SOLUTION
Advanced Smart
Farmers can check in a very simple interface all of their fields, and check
what needs to be done in each plot. The irrigation recommendation is
shown as an alert in the card. We provide the optimal recommendation
balancing the crop water demand and operational restrictions such as
irrigation equipment, operational capacity/legislation and energy restriction.
All fields in one place
The farmer can enter each field to analyze better its situation,
how much it has rained, how is the soil, he can add activities to
that plot such as seeding, changing phenological states,
harvesting and the most important he can visually see how is
that plot responding to the water demand and irrigation.

Agrosmart run more precise weather forecast for the next 72 hours,
as well as meteorological reports. We center our grid only where we
have customers and run smaller grids that are calibrated by the
local weather stations, predicting the weather in the farm with more
accuracy.

to analyze crop health, water stress and evaluate
equipment performance.
