This was my initial ideas for my music magazine.

1. Initial ideas notes for the music magazine
For my musicmagazine Iwill be lookingintothe genre calledNightcore.Ihave chosenthismainly
because of the fact that I feel thatthismusichasnot beenmade verypublic.Ifeel asthoughif itis
made intoa more publicitemthenitwill becomepopular.Mytargetaudience forthis isteenage
yearsto the ages of 20 up.
I have plannedmycoverimage,mycontentspage andmy double page spread.Mycover image is
goingto have a white backgroundwithamodel’sface inthe centre of the page. The model will be a
girl and will be dressedupinan Anime style.Iwill dothisby firstlygivingthembrightneonblue hair,
usingorange/redeye shadow,make theirface seemlighter,I’ll have extendedeyelinerwith
skimmingtipsanda brightblushonthe cheeks.I’ll doall of this to make theireyesseemmore
enhancingandthemto seemmore cartoonlike.Thisisonlybecause all of the Nightcore albumsare
drawingsof Anime people. The frontcoverwill alsohave abarcode downinthe right handcornerof
the page alongwiththe logoat the top righthand cornerof the page. At the top of the coverpage
will be the mastheadwhichwill be the name of the magazine. Lastlyonthe sidesof the page will be
the cover lines.
In the contentspage there will be alarge picture inthe backgroundwithwritinglayeredoverthe top
of it.The picture behinditwill be inAnime styleandwill have brightandboldcoloursthatwill go
withthe musicinvolved. The writingwill be the maincontentandthisinformationwill includethings
like;the singers,the bandsandotherneededinformation.
The double page spreadwill be the mainpartof the magazine andwill require the mostwork.The
double page spreadwill have a variety of differentaspectsinvolved.Forexamplethere will be the
title whichwill be atthe topof the page and largerthan the otherbitsof writing. Iwill alsobe
placinga fewpicturesinaswell these againwill be drawninAnime style asthiswill be the running
theme. The imageswill be original andhanddrawnwithbright andboldcolours.The page will also
include a“pull quote”.Thiswill be placedinrandomareasof the writingthatwill intice the readerin
more.The informationwillbe tellingthe readeraboutNightcore bandsandsingersandwhere they
will be playinginevents.
