therefore making it more

The games audience appeal
is good. This is because they
often add new additions to
the game including jetpacks,
powerups, etc. This attracts
attention form the audience
and will make keep the game
relevant it will leave the
player something to work
towards.

Subway Surfers is a front
view runner. This is a
good choice of view as it
allows the user to see
what is in front of them
clearly and as it is from
the characters point of
view allows them to feel
involved in the game
when playing. This is an
effective method as they
will feel a connection to
the game while playing
therefore making it a
more memorable game.
The game includes a large
array of powerups
therefore adding more
layers and enjoyment to
the game. This is a feature
I would like to add to my
final game as it makes the
game more complex and
addictive for the user.
The game includes a lot of
vibrancy. This is a good
addition to the game as
the games eye catching
colour means that the
player will never lose
attention. It also portrays
a sense of happiness and
enjoyment which is the
main reason for playing
games. This may
physiologically make the
player enjoy the game
more.
All the fonts used in the game are bold
and clear. This is so the user won’t
have trouble seeing them when
playing the game. However, they are
small and hidden in the corner so that
the player wont be distracted while
playing. This leads to an overall better
playing experience

The game Vector is aside
view runner. This is the
view I am planning to
include in my game. This is
because it allows the player
to see every feature of the
game at all times and
allows them to look at
multiple things at once.
Therefore, it is the perfect
format for my final game as
there is going to be many
different features of screen
which the user will need to
be able to see at all times.
This view also allows the
user to have a clear view of
what is ahead of them. This
will help them see
powerups and upcoming
obstacles therefore
leading to a higher
enjoyment of the game.
The game includes different
point increases for doing
different movements. I am
planning to include a similar
feature to this as I want my
game to have different layers to
add to the enjoyment of the
playing experience.
The game includes a city
background. This works well as
it fits the theme of the game
well and also is visible to the
player. However, it isn't so
visible that it distracts the
player when the playing the
game. This is similar to how I
want my background to be as
it works perfectly.

The game Minion Rush is a front
view runner. This is a good way of
dong a runner game as it puts you
n the perspective of you character.
This makes the user feel more
engaged in the game therefore
perhaps enjoying the game more.
The idea of including minions in
the game works very well. This is
because it will attract all the
despicable me fans. The creator
of the game clearly knows their
target audience of the younger
generation before making the
game.
Minion rush including bananas as
one of its features. I am going to
include a similar feature in my
final game. This is because it adds
more detail and layers to the
game therefore making it more
interesting to play.
The games colour theme is very
vibrant. The designers of the
game have done this to make
sure the player has constant
attention on the game as its
vibrancy will always catch the
eye.
6. Research Analysis
From the research material I have collected, the majority of them are endless
runner games which is exactly what I am creating with my final game. As well as
that, they all included features which allows the player to collect extra points. I
would like to include this in my final game as it adds a sense of competiveness and
skill to the game. The games also include a character chasing them. This adds a
sense of urgency to the game therefore making it more entertaining to play.
From my research, I will include the vibrancy of some of the games. This is because
it always catches the attention of the player and also relates the game with
positivity which I what playing games is made for. As well as that, I will include
different features that can increase the amount of points collected. This just adds
complexity and professionalism to the game. My game will be played on a side view.
This is because I feel tis is the bets format for an endless runner as it allows the
