Myaudience formygame is Males,agedbetween 16-25.Thisisdue to myconceptbeing azombie shooting
game,whichisviolent. Stereotypically, the malegenderprefersthese games.Dueto the contentbeingviolent
andvery simple,i believe this helpsreflectthe target audience better.Thisiswhyi have set it to 16-25. Adults
prefer gameswithpuzzles and knowledge,where asthis gameis just to survive. Mygame will beaimed
towardsheterosexual people dueto the gamenot containing muchwoman empowermentorhomosexuality.
Thisisdue to it not being relevant for mygame.Also, the populace forheterosexualityis a 95%rate. This
meansthe biggertargetaudience isheterosexuality,making the game moreappealing tothem.
The social status for my advergame is C2DE. This means anyone can play this game that is skilled
working class, working class and those at the lowest levels of subsistence. I feel like this social
status is broad which links in with my target audience accurately. This is due to 16-25 year olds
being in various social classes. However, as you’re growing up the social status may change. This
means my target audience is versatile.

Thisyear i have developed manyskillson photoshop considering i hadneverused the software previously. I
have learnt howto polylaser which iswhereyou cutout objectsfrom a pictureandedit it to your own. From
this, i learnt howto colourimagesinwiththecolourtool this makesmy workmoreunique andpersonalised.
Thishelped meimprovemydetail to workby understanding thebest way to makethe productmore effective,
creating amorein-depthsceneryand characters.
I’ve alsodeveloped the skill to use the tween tool whilst animating.Thisgivesmethe abilityto usemy time
more effectively. What the tween tool doesis transports oneof your layers from one sideof the pageto the
other. Thismeansinstead ofmoving objectsindividually,you cantweenthe objectandit will animate itfor
you. Thissaves a lot of time inproduction andisa goodway of getting sceneryand characterstomove. Even
though i found this tool hard to beginwith, after consistentusei have found it timeeffective. Thismakesthe
ideaof using it moreappealing.
Myadvergame is a shooting game.Thiswill helpondirectimpactonmyup andcoming projectbygiving me
various skills. Thismeanswhenitcomestoproducing mymainproject,i will do it in the mosteffective way.
Thiswill bebecause i have used the toolsneededbefore.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
Theconceptformyprojectis a shooting game.What the gameconsistsof is a zombie game.You will have
the option to playeitherthe zombie or the survivor. If you play the survivor you will have to collectresources
andfind other civiliansto help.If you choseto be the zombie you will have to attack andleadcertain zombie
groupsto attackthe civilians.You will have the optionto playmultiplayeragainsyour friends andothers
around the world.You will also have the optionto playsingle player, which will consistof a story mode.This
will be whereyou pickyour characteranddetermined thestorylineand results. You will alsoachieve rewards
through out eachstory. What this will do is give your characterpowerups,improving theassests. The
research i will needto conductisinterviews.What this will do is get an ideaonwhat my target audience are
looking for. For example:mytarget audience is16-25year old, males.I interviewed malesagesbetween 16-
25 andasked whatoptions they wantincluded inagameandwhat do they expectfrom this genregame.I
have also researched intoothergenregames.Forexample:i researched intolollipop chainsawwhichisa
fighting game.From thisis lookedat the features included whichhasmade merealise whati needto include
within mygame.Thisalsohelped meconductwhattarget audience would bethebest to appeal to. The
majorityof gameplayersin todays societyare: 16-25year olds.Whilst lookingintothis, manygamesarenow
shooting game genres.Thisisbecause peopleenjoyviolentgameswhereyou canachieve andreload
resourceseasily.
From this research, it will help me know what to look for whilst planning and researching. This
means i will use my time more effectively by gathering the right resources for planning my
