1. AUDIENCE
• The audience for my magazine is both white males and females aged 14-19. It is a
niche market, but may be considered that it has moved to a mainstream mass
market. The target audience don’t have to have a great educational background,
due to this, the magazine will be slightly informal. The target audience are likely
to have gone to many concerts and listen to a lot of the music that features in
the magazine. The target audience are likely to also be wanting to see up-coming
bands and musicians.
• The overall tone for the magazine is a very chilled out cool magazine. The
language used is slightly informal. The social class is likely to be D,C2 and C1. The
expectations for the audience is that a popular band/musician on the front cover
being the main story and image. The magazine engages the audience because the
content is aimed at the same age group and they will relate to the fashion etc.
