  • 2. What is the Student Experience Project (SEP)? Purpose is to improve the student experience from application stage through to being an alumni The aim is to improve satisfaction ratings and increase retention/progression

  • 6. Recipes for Success • 37 total initiatives (including 7 quick wins) • Topics include: • Academic probation • Birthday shout out • Drop-in advising • Employability support • Learning Management System scavenger hunt • Mental health first aid • Weeks of welcome

What We Learned • Getting buy-in • Invite all functional units to various streams • Link to PPR process, particularly 70/20/10 • Launch quick wins for immediate impact • Develop quick reference documents • Project management • Appoint PM to ensure project remains top of mind • Navigate changes in organizational structure changes (i.e.: optimal college, attrition, etc.) • Follow-up with the EDs on initiatives • Develop tracking tools to document progress and success • Scaling project • Focus in on key target audience for immediate impact (ex: college size of 0-500 students) • Develop expansion packs
