4. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
You can edit pictures and create drawings in it. You can remove background on photos or blur
things out in the photos. You can blend things together. You can also add photos onto your work.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
It can be confusing to use. I struggled with blending the colours together and removing the
background at first. Sometimes it doesn’t go the way you planned.
5. Graphic Design Production
The similarities between the posters is that their
both based on a beach and have people walking on
it. Their both have an 80s theme to it.
The differences between these posters is the colour
scheme is different and one has a big coca cola can
on it. The slogans are different from each other as
well.
6. Graphic Design Production
The strengths of the poster I made is that you can tell its on a beach and that it
is for coca cola. The photos are well placed and they go with the theme of the
poster.
The weakness of the poster is that the blending the colours were hard to do and
removing the backgrounds was a bit difficult to do as well.
What I would change about the poster is the colour blending and have a bit
more things going on in it. I would also try to get the colours to fit better with
each other.

8. Radio Production Experiments
We had a audio recorder and different things that makes noises. We filmed
bells and doors closing. Mainly we film ourselves talking and opening bottle.
We then added it to our radio advert. Like the bottle opening could give
people the idea that the advert is about a drink. Since the advert is a radio
advert people can see what the advert is about so the sounds put that image
in their heads. We film ourselves saying the coca cola slogan or talking about
the product.
9. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro
You can make your own audio or video with the editing options that it gives you. You can
download music and edit it or make it work with other sounds, with premiere pro. You can effects
to the sound like if you want it to fade in or out. You can change the volume of the sounds you
have if its to loud or to quiet.
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro
It can be a bit difficult to use if you haven’t used it before. Sometimes one of the sounds can
make it harder to heard the other sounds like I had one sound that made it difficult to hear the
other sounds that was needed to be heard. You also have to pay for it if you don’t have it at
home.
10. Radio Production

Difference between the radio advert I made and the one on YouTube is that mine
has waves crashing and birds chirping while the one on YouTube has people
walking around while drinking a bottle of coca cola. Another difference is that my
advert is a radio advert while the one on YouTube is an advert that is seen on tv.
The one on YouTube has a slogan in it while the one I made just has the jingle.
Similarities between the two adverts is that their both selling the same product.
They also have similar ideas like the one I made was based on the beach while the
one on YouTube is based in the summer. Their both showing that the product is a
drink by taking a drink out of it.
11. Radio Production
The strengths of the radio advert I made is that you can tell that it’s one the beach by the waves
crashing and birds chirping. You can also hear people having a conversation. You can also tell that
someone is having a drink from the sipping sounds they are making. But you can tell that it’s a
coca cola advert from the jingle at the end. The weaknesses of the radio advert I made was that it
was hard lapping all the sounds together so none was louder than the rest. Also I found it difficult
to turn the volume up on some of the sounds while also figuring which part of the sounds I want
to use. Getting all the sounds together was difficult as I couldn’t find a sound of seagulls or a can
being open, I had to find similar sounds like instead of seagulls, I found crow sounds and instead
of a can being opened I found someone sipping a drink instead. The changes I would make to the
product is I would of added a slogan to it or have it a bit more clear that the advert is for coca
cola. I would also change the sounds so they work a bit better together.
14. Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
I can make pixel drawing easier and I can animate them as well. I can add cool looking effect to
show that you won. I can move my characters around with each frame.
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
I struggled with making sure the background stayed on the right layer. I also had trouble with
when a layer disappeared it took some of the other layers with it.
15. Advergame Production
The similarities of the two games is that they both involve a character jumping and
avoiding objects. They both have a point system when you collect certain objects. They
also have monsters you can attack by jumping on them.
The differences between the two games is that one game is advertising coca cola while
the other one is a game with move levels that get harder as they go. One of the game is
has better graphics and controls while the other doesn’t. one of the games just has you
jumping on two monsters while the other has like fire blasters and monsters you have to
avoid.
16. Advergame Production
The strengths of the game is that it shows what I want it to show and the animation move
great. The drawings move in the way I wanted them to. I also added like a fire work effect
when the character reaches the flag and an end screen to show what the game was
advertising.
The weaknesses of the game is that when I was animating it some of things moved the
back ground. It was difficult to draw out everything as well. the end screen caused me a
bit of trouble by leaving black spots after the words appeared.
I would draw everything out differently or add more levels. I would also add a better end
screen and have a prize for the winners.

18. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
I think the advergame advertises the product best because you can tell what the product is from
the counters and end screen. It also makes younger people more interested as it is a game.
• Which of your products is the most
professional? Why?
The advergame is more professional because it looks like a game and it advertises the product in
it. Also the product is targeted for ages of 16-19 and these ages like to play games.
