Radio editing print scrn
1. Radio Editing
This is the first stage of editing for the radio ad. This involved us picking a main song which
we was going to embed other sounds found from the documentary itself and also a recorded
script. We then added the main song we was going to use onto the audio track.
2. We then added sounds which we had cut out of our documentary itself which we could use
as a part of the radio add. This is where we will choose and put them in places on top of the
sound bed.
3. Using audacity we then started to record our own voice over script which we had
prepared prior to recording.
4. We then exported the file onto premier ready to edit together with the sound track.
5. We then cut up the voice over into separate sections to suit the radio ad itself – ready to
edit in.
6. Here we have started to edit together all the cuts that we had made from the voice overs
and the documentary then started to edit it to the sound bed.
7. Here we are editing the audio levels of the audio and including audio edits and transitions
in order to make the audio sound and flow better.
8. Here we have added the final edits into the radio add such as audio edits for example the
constant gain.
