I am excited to offer my recommendation for Lana Sioma.
Lana and I worked as peer sales managers, side by side, for several years. Lana managed an outside sales
team of many different personalities, temperaments and abilities.
She was very successful at DMNMedia, managing her team to above-goal performance in most of the
quarters during her tenure. She also had the privilege of one of her account executives winning a
prestigious quarterly company award, which is always a reflection of good management.
She managed her team with discipline and organization. She was a resource to her account executives -
they were able to leverage her experience in difficult client situations and help them close more business.
She offered sales tips and advice in order to make her people better...and they were.
Lana was able to address difficult personnel issues fairly and concisely, especially in terms of performance
issues. The account executives in question were never surprised and were always encouraged to not be
moved out, but be moved up.
Lana was a very supportive peer to her fellow mangers and was a great sounding board for ideas and
questions. I enjoyed working with her very much.
