1. About myself
Out of the box thinking, looking at why something can succeed and always searching for the
talent of people and the strength of an organization. In that role I feel at home. Over the
years I was able to fulfill that role with much pleasure. Things you might not immediately
expect of a financial director, but you might expect from a results-oriented professional with
a financial background who developed himself in the width at Rabobank.
Together, with an executive or management team developing a strategy, and translate that
into a concrete plan. That is what I am good at. Together with my passion, connectivity and
genuine interest, the main ingredients to arrive at the best solution.
Passion that you have as a professional, ensures that you always go for the best. To achieve
this, you must always go for the extra mile. I've always done it myself. It's my passion that
has ensured that I got where I am today. And I think that's why I am capable of encourage
people to do their utmost and motivating them to always go for the maximum possible
within their own capabilities and with their own talents.
Connectivity allows you to build a team. As a team you can achieve more than when you are
alone. Connectivity also ensures that you know exactly what a colleague, customer or a
business partner expects from you. But it also enables you to do the right things at the right
time.
And genuine interest finally, ensures that you can put people in their strength. Capitalizing
the strengths and strengthen the weaknesses. The leader as a coach, not controlling, but
being supportive.
Making an organization better within the constraints and opportunities, that's what drives
