2. 1. THE EARTH´S BIOMES.
Each area of the world that can be defined by a
particular type of climate and by a specific plants
(flora) and animals (plants) is called a BIOME.
Therefore, a biome is a formation of plants and
animals that have common characteristics due to
similar climates and can be found over a range of
continents.
