Students are assigned a project to learn about their city of Ciudad Real. The project has two parts: first, creating a poster with a short history of the city, photos of important buildings and streets, and a map marking the locations. Second, students will interview 3 citizens, asking their opinions on living in the city and possible disadvantages and solutions. Students will turn in their posters between specific dates in January and conduct interviews on January 30th. The completed project is due on February 6th.

2. FIRTS PART: POSTER - COLLAGUE
(PHOTOS-URBAN PLAN CIUDAD REAL)
▪ Imagine you are a tour guide of your city and you have to explain and show
the most important buildings, places or streets.
▪ For this, your poster has to contain:
a.Short description of Ciudad Real:
▪ History: its origins and its founder.
▪ Characteristics: type settlement, number inhabitants, main functions,
morphology, advantages or disadvantages to live in this city...
b.Then, you have to make a collague with the photos of the streets or most
important buildings that connect with the city centre and the urban plan of
Ciudad Real, marking on it the Streets.
▪ Toledo St., Calatrava St., Caballeros St. : connect with Plaza Mayor.
▪ Ciruela St., Mata St., Alarcos St. : connect with Plaza del Pilar.
▪ Prado St.: connect Prado with Plaza Mayor.

3. SECOND PART: INTERVIEW
▪ You have to make the different questions to 3 citizens of
Ciudad Real and you have to record the interview. Some
examples of questions (you have to prepare the questions in advance
and prepare a guide notes).
▪ What is your opinion about your city? Is a good city to live?
▪ Do you think that there are some disadvantages?
▪ How can we solve them?
▪ Then, you have to send me your records and delete them from
your mobile.
