• Grown rings: Trees increases in diameter by
the formation , every growth season a new
layer is added , hence cut section shows rings.
• Porosity: woods that are highly pourous are
harder to sand to a smooth finish, and tends
to absorb more glue and finish then less
pourous wood.

Easy to work and remarkably durable.
