As you can see most people
who answered the survey
were around the age of 1724. This means that the
most interest gained in the
survey for a SingerSongwriter category is
around the average age of
20. Which is also a similar
age to the Jack Johnson
listeners.

3. Favourite Genre’s
As you can see there is a
wide range of favourite
genre’s from participant’s.
with the acoustic singersongwriters coming in joint
3rd position for favourite
genre’s

4. Do you prefer more of a performance video or more o
a narrative video
Looking at the results you
can see that ‘Narrative’ was
more popular at around 60%
with performance around
40%. Therefore I decided to
make my video based
around the story of love
between the boy and the girl.
But because performance
was still fairly popular that is
why I decided for the Actor to
stand and sing to the camera

5. Do you like videos that present
the artist as an actor?
Seeing the results
from this piece of
evidence, many
people replied to say
that they didn’t know
what they preferred.
Therefore this made
the decision hard for
me to plan with, I
therefore decided to
use both elements of
this question in my
video

6. Do you like videos that contain
a lot of editing e.g. effects or
many different angles and
shots?
For this piece of
evidence I have thought
about it and decided that
I should include a lot of
different shots and
different angles as the
song is very slow so to
keep the audience keen
this is a good idea. I also
think using a simple
editing technique will be
beneficial. Something
such as a greyscale
filter. I may not use one
of these depending on
how my final product
looks
