Ear Biscuits – In Ear Biscuits the basics are there is two men who have known each other
for a very long time have been close mates for all that time wheorinetedilst growing up
in North Carolina together the duo became a YouTube asset and moved out to Los
Angeles where they currently live and operate under the channel name of Good
Mythical Morning the creation process of the program is not one that only involves the
two f them an entire team sits behind the scenes on the set and other series they do on
other channels the duo started doing podcasts years ago and are on episode 237 they
are in the podcast studio with only two other people and usually only the two of them
talk about the sometimes they have guests but the premise remains the same as it has
since the start the two explore topics people don’t really talk about whilst giving subtle
shoutouts to the people who sponsor and allow ear biscuits to continue as long as it has
the primary one of these is that of Ramble however they have been sponsored by
Spotify, Trade500, Forex And Fox To do podcasts before oriented around the certain
things they are talking about

The SmithSquad Podcast – The SmithSquad podcast is created by you tuber the
SmithPlays he started playing zombies on YouTube back in 2010 and created the
podcast in 2013 and had different YouTube from the same genre and community to
Patrick the podcast did 137 episodes up until 2017 which is where he finally changed
the genre to the game of the year at the time which was fortnite which was absolutely
booming on YouTube at the time as the battle royale genre faded out of relevance
towards the end of 2019 with fortnite fading in popularity progressively over the stage
of 2 years he made content almost exclusively on fortnite in them 2 years he stopped
the podcast as he wasn’t enjoying it anymore towards early 2020 however the shift was
made by Patrick to revive his channel in a Zombie specific way uploading less fortnite
and more zombies as his break made him enjoy it a lot more the podcast looks on the
fringes of returning with the peak finally back on the side of Zombies and Pat rather
then the overhyped BR genre and the overplayed fortnite theme that haunted YouTube
for the two years looks to finally be over the podcast explores YouTube themes and the
life experiences of the people he had on the podcast they are young lads and haven’t
got the life experience of a lot of people such as the Earbiscuits lads who are almost 40
now the lads were 19/21 at the time and spoke on a different life experience being in
the spotlight of YouTube.

It Is What It Is Podcast – In the IIWII podcast it is run by Turbo a YouTuber who does zombie
content as well on call of duty he also produces the podcast IIWII and he features the varied
you tubers that were also part of his journey upwards and his journey up to this point he is a
smaller youtuber with around 35k subscribers in the long run out of the guests he has he
usually ends up as the lowest subbed channel on the podcast IIWII is a big success and a huge
part of the content that Turbo uploads his features other youtubers such as TheSmithPlays,
MrTLexify, Tim Hansen and JacktheBus with the additions of these yotuubers on the podcast
it gets very varied viewing statistics to the rest of Turbos content on the channel in the
zombies community the burn out is every 2 years due to the content that the game actually
creates for the community in the Call Of Duty: Black Ops series the content is there at every
launch sadly for the last launch being Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the game massively
flopped in not just one department the content just simply was not there and the game was
poor and not thought out for the individuals that really carry the genre and video games all in
all

The No Jumper Podcast – Away from YouTube the No Jumper podcast focuses
around music and the artists that matter to the genre of rap and other departments
of public entertainment the podcast often features fairly controversial answers and
questions by the host of Adam22 who is a very controversial host and figure in the
rap community but yet the people that come on respect him and allow him to ask
the questions that no other person would be able to except family members this
creates quite the atmosphere around the podcast he takes on controversial figures
as well and has dipped into other controversial media outlets it makes for a very
enjoyable podcast and conversation people are very open as so is he
Existing Product
• Impaulsive – In the Impaulsive podcast it is hosted by Logan Paul and Mike
Vandarj Logan Paul is a very controversial figure among the YouTube
community due to specific risks and lapses in judgement he has made in his
time on the platform however the podcast has given people a new perspective
on the controversial figure giving an outlook in him growing up and gaining his
following as more mature and an older audience than the one he gained on
vine and his earlier content with this adjustment Logan’s following was
changed from an audience i feel he was never the right person for his content
is more 16+ nowadays in comparison to his prior audience this is great and a
really good part of the podcast he is not scared to discuss content he would
have been in the past and how much he felt about certain topics where
people could disagree with him now he lives his life openly to try and invite
the people he alienated by his actions in the past and the podcast is a great
way for him to do it he is so open and creative every single episode and it is
something I highly respect of someone who has lost a lot of it over the last 24
months or so
Research Analysis
• Most of the content is YouTube oriented about
the life that they live in between the videos and
the streams that the people see
• The group aspect of some of the podcasts is
something I would like to get in the snippet of the
content that I want to make for my fmp the 8
minute or so pre snippet of what the wider
episode would be is the content I want to make
Questionnaire Analysis
Audience research
• Observation:Not My Target Audience
• What this says about my audience:This audience is not the target for me.
• How will your product appeal to this audience:I will adapt the content to
be slightly earlier aimed but not focused on this group enough.
Age Group 9-11 – In this age group I would hedge my bets on that the age group
doesn’t listen to the podcast or even know the genre at all however the audience I
spoke to in this age group enjoyed the concept and if it was content that they enjoy
they have more spare time than adults and the podcasts are consistently long they are
something to leave in the background of doing other things such as school work and
homework which of course into the first years of secondary school it’s a good thing for
the brain to be stimulated whilst doing whatever they were doing.
Audience research
• Observation:Huge target audience majority
• What this says about my audience:This is the main aim of
my podcast to learn about the about the sport
• How will your product appeal to this audience: By being
interesting and creating something to learn about.
Ages 11-15 - This is a core target audience for my podcast usually the more
inquisitive groups and the primary learners in the groups people who haven’t
established an opinion on a lot of subjects podcasts are the prime opportunity to
create an opinion based on another one and to develop it in a way to grow the
subject and create an opinion for other conveersations for them to create the
narrative. The nfl pod is an interesting one for the UK audience that I would be
targeting as not as much of culture of the sport exists.
Audience research
Ages 15-21 – This is a target audience that is also specified towards learning but
not formulating an opinion on the subject more to debate the specific subjects and
their own opinions on them in the NFL there is so many different narratives and
possibilities due to the pure chance of the sport itself a lot of the sport is the
genius that is made by the coaches and GM and the serious thoughts that go into
the tactics and the schemes this becomes more and more interesting when the
individual that is learning about the sport understands the differences and what
they make in different situations this is the prime group for my podcast and the
main aim of what the podcasts audience is supposed to be.
Audience research
Ages 21-25 – This is the aim of the podcast at the end of the day to reach the
communities that have been able to be exposed to the content to create the
debates that the podcast are planned to be able to achieve in the long run the
plan of the podcast itself it is supposed to be a conversation starter and an
opinion progressive podcast this is perfect for the people of this age range the
minimum age of the group it is aimed at in this group is 21 and that should be
the cap where an opinion is permanently formed between the listener and the
creator being me.
Audience research
Ages 25+ - 25 plus is the onwards passing of the podcast the opinion is formed and
therefore the debate can continue from the age range of 21-25 to 25+ and
onwards the podcasts main group to aim at is between 12-25 then on the podcast
would become outdated to tv programs on the subject and the actual coverage
from the “experts” on programs such as ESPN and NFL Network the podcast aims
to generate the interest in this sport and the programs themselves such as the
broadcast of games ands the draft over the course of a season in the UK the game
times are extremely late and the draft coverage goes on for absolute hours but ton
generate the interest to fire up the numbers of the viewership is in England
Audience research
Content (Zombies) – The varied content of the audience interest is a weigh up I will
be analysing the three subjects to assess and use the data to establish which subject I
would rather do the podcast on the first of which is definitely Zombies form the Call
Of Duty series see previous analysis of the SmithSquad Podcast for information on
the factors to go into the use of the Call Of Duty:Zombies series the audience of the
Zombies Community is likely the smallest out of the 3 subjects I might choose to
discuss the community thrives on being an inside community and the community is
fairly loyal to its personalities for this reason the discussion objective of the podcast
could be achieved easier than in other subject departments due to the overflow of
content in those areas.
Audience research
Content (IRL Themes & Discussions) – IRL themes are a huge part of the youtube
basis and are constants for discussion on Twitch and Youtube as platforms as bases
for discussions to happen during the videos and the comments the discussions are
usually by the creators of the podcasts ands the discussions to give people an
insight into the general day to day life and the background to the creatiors life and
their individual lifestyle this is extremely interesting to the audiences that are
present for their podcasts and their videos as it gives a closer look into the
difference in lifestyles between a YouTube star and a normal individual with a
normal lifestyle.
Audience research
Content (YouTube) – The content around creators and their [peers is also interesting
to their communities as it offers an insight in the lifestyles of the varied individuals
and their friends and acquaintances that sometimes become a part of the videos
that the communities look at. In the YouTube world if you will the content creators
speak to others in the video creation obviously meet at events and create a
community in themselves this is viewed by their communities and makes the vierw
counts and subscriber counts of the people responsible the content developed in
podcasts around the YouTube topics are usually quite well received by the audiences
that the view them and are fairly well received by the wider communities outside of
the responsible content creators.
Audience research
Content (NFL) – The NFL has gained a huge boom very recently due to the very
first virtual draft in history which was a massive success in the long run of things
the setup was designed incredibly and ran very smoothly despite pretty much
every candidate being on either facetime or zoom cal;l to one another the virtual
side of the NMFL did excellently over this period of time despite numerous
concerns about the draft beingf hacked or something going extremely wrong
between the parties but all 7 rounds ran brilliantly the draft process was
extremely interfered with due to the COVID-19 crisis which came with a lot of
issues from the teams and the draft vprospects this generated the biggest
viewership for the draft inhistory ands thebiggest sibnce 2014 this was a
phenomenal achievement for the prospects and the teams in a huge success.

  • 2. Existing Product Ear Biscuits – In Ear Biscuits the basics are there is two men who have known each other for a very long time have been close mates for all that time wheorinetedilst growing up in North Carolina together the duo became a YouTube asset and moved out to Los Angeles where they currently live and operate under the channel name of Good Mythical Morning the creation process of the program is not one that only involves the two f them an entire team sits behind the scenes on the set and other series they do on other channels the duo started doing podcasts years ago and are on episode 237 they are in the podcast studio with only two other people and usually only the two of them talk about the sometimes they have guests but the premise remains the same as it has since the start the two explore topics people don’t really talk about whilst giving subtle shoutouts to the people who sponsor and allow ear biscuits to continue as long as it has the primary one of these is that of Ramble however they have been sponsored by Spotify, Trade500, Forex And Fox To do podcasts before oriented around the certain things they are talking about
  • 3. Existing Product The SmithSquad Podcast – The SmithSquad podcast is created by you tuber the SmithPlays he started playing zombies on YouTube back in 2010 and created the podcast in 2013 and had different YouTube from the same genre and community to Patrick the podcast did 137 episodes up until 2017 which is where he finally changed the genre to the game of the year at the time which was fortnite which was absolutely booming on YouTube at the time as the battle royale genre faded out of relevance towards the end of 2019 with fortnite fading in popularity progressively over the stage of 2 years he made content almost exclusively on fortnite in them 2 years he stopped the podcast as he wasn’t enjoying it anymore towards early 2020 however the shift was made by Patrick to revive his channel in a Zombie specific way uploading less fortnite and more zombies as his break made him enjoy it a lot more the podcast looks on the fringes of returning with the peak finally back on the side of Zombies and Pat rather then the overhyped BR genre and the overplayed fortnite theme that haunted YouTube for the two years looks to finally be over the podcast explores YouTube themes and the life experiences of the people he had on the podcast they are young lads and haven’t got the life experience of a lot of people such as the Earbiscuits lads who are almost 40 now the lads were 19/21 at the time and spoke on a different life experience being in the spotlight of YouTube.
  • 4. Existing Product It Is What It Is Podcast – In the IIWII podcast it is run by Turbo a YouTuber who does zombie content as well on call of duty he also produces the podcast IIWII and he features the varied you tubers that were also part of his journey upwards and his journey up to this point he is a smaller youtuber with around 35k subscribers in the long run out of the guests he has he usually ends up as the lowest subbed channel on the podcast IIWII is a big success and a huge part of the content that Turbo uploads his features other youtubers such as TheSmithPlays, MrTLexify, Tim Hansen and JacktheBus with the additions of these yotuubers on the podcast it gets very varied viewing statistics to the rest of Turbos content on the channel in the zombies community the burn out is every 2 years due to the content that the game actually creates for the community in the Call Of Duty: Black Ops series the content is there at every launch sadly for the last launch being Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the game massively flopped in not just one department the content just simply was not there and the game was poor and not thought out for the individuals that really carry the genre and video games all in all
  • 5. Existing Product The No Jumper Podcast – Away from YouTube the No Jumper podcast focuses around music and the artists that matter to the genre of rap and other departments of public entertainment the podcast often features fairly controversial answers and questions by the host of Adam22 who is a very controversial host and figure in the rap community but yet the people that come on respect him and allow him to ask the questions that no other person would be able to except family members this creates quite the atmosphere around the podcast he takes on controversial figures as well and has dipped into other controversial media outlets it makes for a very enjoyable podcast and conversation people are very open as so is he
  • 6. Existing Product • Impaulsive – In the Impaulsive podcast it is hosted by Logan Paul and Mike Vandarj Logan Paul is a very controversial figure among the YouTube community due to specific risks and lapses in judgement he has made in his time on the platform however the podcast has given people a new perspective on the controversial figure giving an outlook in him growing up and gaining his following as more mature and an older audience than the one he gained on vine and his earlier content with this adjustment Logan’s following was changed from an audience i feel he was never the right person for his content is more 16+ nowadays in comparison to his prior audience this is great and a really good part of the podcast he is not scared to discuss content he would have been in the past and how much he felt about certain topics where people could disagree with him now he lives his life openly to try and invite the people he alienated by his actions in the past and the podcast is a great way for him to do it he is so open and creative every single episode and it is something I highly respect of someone who has lost a lot of it over the last 24 months or so
  • 7. Research Analysis • Most of the content is YouTube oriented about the life that they live in between the videos and the streams that the people see • The group aspect of some of the podcasts is something I would like to get in the snippet of the content that I want to make for my fmp the 8 minute or so pre snippet of what the wider episode would be is the content I want to make
  • 9. Audience research • Observation:Not My Target Audience • What this says about my audience:This audience is not the target for me. • How will your product appeal to this audience:I will adapt the content to be slightly earlier aimed but not focused on this group enough. Age Group 9-11 – In this age group I would hedge my bets on that the age group doesn’t listen to the podcast or even know the genre at all however the audience I spoke to in this age group enjoyed the concept and if it was content that they enjoy they have more spare time than adults and the podcasts are consistently long they are something to leave in the background of doing other things such as school work and homework which of course into the first years of secondary school it’s a good thing for the brain to be stimulated whilst doing whatever they were doing.
  • 10. Audience research • Observation:Huge target audience majority • What this says about my audience:This is the main aim of my podcast to learn about the about the sport • How will your product appeal to this audience: By being interesting and creating something to learn about. Ages 11-15 - This is a core target audience for my podcast usually the more inquisitive groups and the primary learners in the groups people who haven’t established an opinion on a lot of subjects podcasts are the prime opportunity to create an opinion based on another one and to develop it in a way to grow the subject and create an opinion for other conveersations for them to create the narrative. The nfl pod is an interesting one for the UK audience that I would be targeting as not as much of culture of the sport exists.
  • 11. Audience research Ages 15-21 – This is a target audience that is also specified towards learning but not formulating an opinion on the subject more to debate the specific subjects and their own opinions on them in the NFL there is so many different narratives and possibilities due to the pure chance of the sport itself a lot of the sport is the genius that is made by the coaches and GM and the serious thoughts that go into the tactics and the schemes this becomes more and more interesting when the individual that is learning about the sport understands the differences and what they make in different situations this is the prime group for my podcast and the main aim of what the podcasts audience is supposed to be.
  • 12. Audience research Ages 21-25 – This is the aim of the podcast at the end of the day to reach the communities that have been able to be exposed to the content to create the debates that the podcast are planned to be able to achieve in the long run the plan of the podcast itself it is supposed to be a conversation starter and an opinion progressive podcast this is perfect for the people of this age range the minimum age of the group it is aimed at in this group is 21 and that should be the cap where an opinion is permanently formed between the listener and the creator being me.
  • 13. Audience research Ages 25+ - 25 plus is the onwards passing of the podcast the opinion is formed and therefore the debate can continue from the age range of 21-25 to 25+ and onwards the podcasts main group to aim at is between 12-25 then on the podcast would become outdated to tv programs on the subject and the actual coverage from the “experts” on programs such as ESPN and NFL Network the podcast aims to generate the interest in this sport and the programs themselves such as the broadcast of games ands the draft over the course of a season in the UK the game times are extremely late and the draft coverage goes on for absolute hours but ton generate the interest to fire up the numbers of the viewership is in England
  • 14. Audience research Content (Zombies) – The varied content of the audience interest is a weigh up I will be analysing the three subjects to assess and use the data to establish which subject I would rather do the podcast on the first of which is definitely Zombies form the Call Of Duty series see previous analysis of the SmithSquad Podcast for information on the factors to go into the use of the Call Of Duty:Zombies series the audience of the Zombies Community is likely the smallest out of the 3 subjects I might choose to discuss the community thrives on being an inside community and the community is fairly loyal to its personalities for this reason the discussion objective of the podcast could be achieved easier than in other subject departments due to the overflow of content in those areas.
  • 15. Audience research Content (IRL Themes & Discussions) – IRL themes are a huge part of the youtube basis and are constants for discussion on Twitch and Youtube as platforms as bases for discussions to happen during the videos and the comments the discussions are usually by the creators of the podcasts ands the discussions to give people an insight into the general day to day life and the background to the creatiors life and their individual lifestyle this is extremely interesting to the audiences that are present for their podcasts and their videos as it gives a closer look into the difference in lifestyles between a YouTube star and a normal individual with a normal lifestyle.
  • 16. Audience research Content (YouTube) – The content around creators and their [peers is also interesting to their communities as it offers an insight in the lifestyles of the varied individuals and their friends and acquaintances that sometimes become a part of the videos that the communities look at. In the YouTube world if you will the content creators speak to others in the video creation obviously meet at events and create a community in themselves this is viewed by their communities and makes the vierw counts and subscriber counts of the people responsible the content developed in podcasts around the YouTube topics are usually quite well received by the audiences that the view them and are fairly well received by the wider communities outside of the responsible content creators.
  • 17. Audience research Content (NFL) – The NFL has gained a huge boom very recently due to the very first virtual draft in history which was a massive success in the long run of things the setup was designed incredibly and ran very smoothly despite pretty much every candidate being on either facetime or zoom cal;l to one another the virtual side of the NMFL did excellently over this period of time despite numerous concerns about the draft beingf hacked or something going extremely wrong between the parties but all 7 rounds ran brilliantly the draft process was extremely interfered with due to the COVID-19 crisis which came with a lot of issues from the teams and the draft vprospects this generated the biggest viewership for the draft inhistory ands thebiggest sibnce 2014 this was a phenomenal achievement for the prospects and the teams in a huge success.
